The Hole (Open)

It had been decided by a (non existent) meeting of the Clan. That Heatherpaw will leave out her days in a hole. With only a slight glimmer of light. The rest of it was clogged by a large boulder, it had only one entrance, that was also the exit, and Heatherpaw would never be able to squeeze through. She wouldn't be able to dig out, because the roof of the hole was high up and she was placed deep into the structure. It was at the outside of the camp, where rain constantly fell, a small stream of it, slipping in to the tunnel that threatened to overflow. Nightstar stared at the small crescent mark that served as the only way out of the tunnel, he growled, leaving without a word. This was Heatherpaw's punishment. An eternity in this inescapable jail.

Heatherpaw yowled sadly,her voice hoarse. "Let me out!"she wailed,her paws scrabbling at the boulder. Her belly grumbled with hunger,bt she ignored it and yowled louder.

Bengalbelly walked to the hole with the large bolder closing the top. He stared at it blankly. His ear twitched as he heard he yowl for help and her scrabbling at the boulder. He didn't move after that, just stared, thinking.

"Help!"Heatherpaw whimpered,shrinking down in the hole. Tears ran from her cheeks,and her fur grew wetter as rainwater ran into the gap above. "Help,"

Bengalbelly listened to her wails for help. He was emotionless at first, but on her second cry his fur bristled and her bore him teeth. Help? She wants help. NOW she wants help? He leaned down into a laying position and growled.

Heatherpaw made a leap for the boulder,her claws grazing over it. I'll dig my way out,she thought. If I can. She kept leaping,grunting with the effort. Her claws caught a ledge,and she was suspended in midair for a few moments. "Ahh!"her scream of terror was cut off as a large chunk of dirt and rock slid off onto her,making her hit the ground with a thud. She tried to move out from under the rubble,but she couldn't. Darkness tempted her from the sides of her vision,and she mewled pitifully.

Smallflower watched from the shadows of the Warriors' den, stepping out, only her eyes seen. Serves her right... For whatever she did...

Tigerpelt sighed, twitching his tail.

Smallflower looked around, searching to the clouded blue eyes of her Son, Hollowpaw. Her pelt bristled as she couldn't find him anywhere. "Nightstar!" She yowled, darting up to her Mate, and Leader. "We have a problem!" Fear illuminated off her pelt. Not only Hollowpaw was gone, but so was Cloudpaw.

"What! Has anyone seen him?" Nightstar meowed urgently, he had just been lucky for his son when he had met this little rabble. He had thought that he may have just gone hunting with Cloudpaw, those love birds. But, he still hadn't come back?

Smallflower shook her head. "I haven't seen any of them since last night..." Oh, Hollowpaw... Where did you run off to this time!

OOC: Oh, you know.... Jus off on a Scouting Journey with Cloudpaw and some other cats... Just to save the Clans... xD

"Keep doing that and the whole thing will cave in." Bengalbelly walked close to the boulder, looking it over. Yes... it would cave in, and the boulder would crush her. And if it didn't kill her quickly then she'd sit there in agony as she slowly died.

Bengalbelly was tempted to scrape the dirt from under the rock and loosen it. It would slowly fall and she would wail in her distress. And when it finally crushed her he'd have a feeling of satisfaction and happiness. Yes... just like that.

He gently brushed his claw in the mud. He didn't bother sheathing them from earlier, he didn't see the need. Bengalbelly twitched his ear and looked at Nightstar, his thoughts interrupted. "I haven't seen him," Bengalbelly mewed, but then again, he wasn't looking for him.

Heatherpaw groaned softly,her head bleeding from a stone that had hit her. "Help,"she mumbled in a strange tone. She gave up,crying softly in a corner of the hole. Exhausted,she curled up in a tight ball,closing her eyes.

A shifting sound woke her,and she looked up in alarm. The boulder seem much closer than before,the rain must have loosened it. She didn't realize that Bengalbelly was at the top. It groaned again,sliding a mouselength closer. Her eyes widened and she howled for help,terror plain in her voice. "Why did I help that stupid apprentice!"she wailed,crumpling in a corner and weeping.

An idea suddenly struck her,and she scrabbled wildly at the walls of the hole,not anywhere near the top. I can make a tunnel,and escape!

Bengalbelly listened to Heatherpaw. Why did she help that stupid apprentice? Bengalbelly's hair bristled and he growled. Because she's a mouse-brain with her head in the nursery.

Heatherpaw hissed as a claw broke against the stone and mud,but kept digging frantically. A shallow depression already showed her efforts,and she would dig all night if she had to. If she didn't,the boulder would fall and kill her,or the rain would flood the tunnel.

Bengalbelly stared at the ground again, his thoughts going back to the boulder. He imagined himself digging in the mud as the boulder slowly slipped down and it all caved in on her. He imagined his luck if she wasn't killed instantly and suffered a slow death.

Subconsciously he started to slowly scrape the mud. When he realized what he was doing he growled. He didn't want her to live anymore. He didn't want to give her the chance to live for a few more hours or days. He didn't want her to just drown or starve to death. He wanted to be the reason she died. He wanted his claws to bring her to her end.

Bengalbelly began to claw at the mud, bringing it loose. He did it quickly, causing more disturbance to the earth. He growled and snarled as he did it, his anger growing again. The mud flew under him, splattering under his belly, making it nasty and clogged with the mud. He felt the mud begin to loosen up and come out in larger chunks.

Some of it broke off and fell inside the hole making an opening. He could see Heatherpaw inside, scratching at the mud, trying to make a hole for herself. Seeing her made him angrier and he dug faster. The small opening was covered over as the boulder shifted and started to fill in the gap. He started to scratch at it again, scraping more and more away at once.

Heatherpaw stared up in fright as the boulder began groaning,and her eyes met Bengalbelly's for a few moments. Her hazel eyes hardened with hatred and she glared at him,before the rock began falling. She screamed but it was cut off as the giant rock hit her. Blood dripped from her jaws and she couldn't breath. She squeaked with pain,and that was the last sound she made. Her body gave a dieing shudder,and her eyes glared up at the stormy skies,glazed over forever in that moment of agony and terror.

Nightstar makes dirt on Heatherpaw's grave.

Bengalbelly snarled as the boulder fell on his apprentice - No, former, apprentice. The anger and hatred in him that was ablaze inside him died down. His bristled pelt lay flat again and his eyes when emotionless again. They were narrowed again, the way they always were. He had the same feeling he always had. The feeling of irritation as well as an uncaring one.

He grunted and turned from the rock and padded away to the warriors den. He was tired, it was time to get to sleep.

(What did Heatherpaw do? o.O I missed something during my grounding, didn't I? ... XD)

Snowpaw went to check on Heatherpaw. Why had Nightstar wanted to put her down there? He thought. It seemed unfair. Definantly unfair. His tail drooped as rain plummetted down on his pelt. And then, he came accross the mangled hole. Fearing the worst, he looked down, and saw the boulder that had crushed Heatherpaw to death. He saw her eyes. Her dead, glazed eyes that had once sparked with defiance. A defiance that he had admired. A tear leaked down his cheeck. Black claws curved into the mud. His heart turned hollow. It took him a few moments to figure out he had loved this she-cat. He forgot about the crime she had committed. At first, he thought he felt sadness, pure despair. And then he realized he felt sheer anger, and only anger.
His body started to shake, and he felt like ripping the life out of any cat he could find. Only one word sparked in his small, juvenile mind. Something an apprentice as young as him shouldn't think. Kill. Kill. Just kill. Rip their hearts out. Claw their eyes out. Yessssss, murder themmm.....
And he welcomed these thoughts. He let out a yowl that screamed through the bare trees that used to be IceClan's, but he didn't care about that right now. Instead of running through the DarkClan camp, he headed up toward ThunderClan. He was a rampaging white torpedo. His fur was turning dark with mud. But did his mad mind care? No.
He rampaged farther, not caring where he went. He was so angry, he didn't even know Heatherpaw's death had caused this anymore.

OOC: She helped Badgerpaw escape and tried to run off with him to FireClan.

Stormcloud watched with no sympathy to the cat. She deserved this. She would always deserve this. Betraying DarkClan is betraying life. The she-cat turned towards the warrior's den, giving one last glance over her fur-tipped shoulder.

(XD Snowpaw.... MWHAHAHAHAHA. Man, I have always wanted to do this. Play a character that's mad and out of his mind. XD)
