Hunting(Larchkit and Raindapple)

Lunarshine padded into the misty forest,her fur sparkling with tiny dew-drops. The young she-cat scented the air,tasting for prey. "Nothing,"she mumbled,her tail waving away rain. She looked back at Solarscar,her eyes full of adoration and longing. "Have you scented anything?"

Solarscar was right on Lunarshine's tail, he had to make his eyes into little slivers to see her head, it was foggy and misty out, that usually happen a good rain-fall. He padded infront of her, his eyes looking into hers.... All he did was stare, it was as if someone had hit him in the leg and he suddenly got up from his stare.....

"Uhh....Ummm no I haven't all I can smell is the fog and mist... Maybe we should look for just a little longer then go back to camp?" he asked..... Does she feel the same way???

"Sure,"Lunarshine whispered shyly,feeling her fur grow hot. Noticing his stare,she looked down,embarrassed. She waved her tail slowly,her eyes shining as she met his gaze again. She stiffened,sniffing the air. "Rabbit,"she murmured,flicking her tail.

"I smell a mouse scurring somewhere, I will meet you back here in a bit." and wihout waiting for a reply he raced off using is thin long legs to get to his destaination... She must be scared of me, that was real smooth staring for five minutes! UGGG. Once Solarscar was tail lengths away he got ready to pounce. He crounched down, sholders back ready to leap at anytime. Without hesatiion he took a large leap, paw all the way out and claw ready to sink into a plump mouse. With one swift toss to the ground the mouse was dead... The queens will enjoy this.. He padded back to the meeting spot and wait for *sigh* Lunarshine.... She was just SOO pretty, how could he resist?

Lunarshine pounced onto the rabbit,killing it with a quick nip to the neck. She dragged the limp rabbit back to where Solarscar would be waiting. She found him with his mouse. "Did you want to stay out here a while?"she asked,hope infiltrating her voice.

Solarscar brightend when he saw the girl he loved padd up.

"Sure, I would love to stay..." He meowed hoping that something would go on between the two...

Lunarshine purred,burying the rabbit. She looked over at him,her eyes full of excitement. "What now?"

"Umm.... I don't know, want to find somewhere private, where we can talk?" Solarscar asked Lunarshine, he turned burring his mouse next to her rabbit. He really like her.. He just was too scared to say it.

"Sure,"she breathed,her eyes shining.

Solarscar soon found an old badger home, it was just big enough for the two of them... He crawled in waiting for *sigh* *wink* Lunarshine

Lunarshine ducked into the hole,her paws whispering on the dirt path. "What did you want to talk about?"

"Umm..... I don't now..... What do you wanna talk about?" He asked growing with embarassment, Was this a mistake even coming out here with her!? He just wanted her soo much, and was too whimpy to say anything. That was not like the normal Solarscar, he was rude ans was always talking, but around Lunarshine he was compelty different.

"Um,"Lunarshine scuffled her paws. "Did you see how big Owlkit's gotten?"she mewed,settling on the topic of kits.

"I'M NOT THAT FAT YET!!! YOU ALL HATE ME!!! WAHH I'M GOING BACK TO CAMP!!" yowled hidden Owlkit from the trees, before running away with tears in his eyes after Lunarshine had so rudely pointed out how fat he was getting, it wasn't his fault he kept eating prey... Was it?

Lunarshine sighed heavily,looking down. Her ginger splotched fur was soaked,and she shivered as a cold breeze blew more rain into the tiny den.

"Ummm.... Yea all of those kits have grown, but ummm anyways, do you want to go back, you look cold.." Solarscar obseverd her wet coat, then put his drench pelt to her's. I could say it, but it would be weird......

Lunarshine nodded,shivering violently. "T-th-thank-ks,"she mewed through chattering teeth. She sneezed and looked at him apologetically.

So... Umm.... Any new gossip?" He asked with a Mrrrow of laughter, Lunarshine was defenilty that cat for him. Before Solarscar was a grumpy terd.... Now he found someone he truley loved...

"N-no,not-t r-really,"She shivered,purring. Lunarshine's green eyes were alight with laughter.

"Would you like to go back to camp, you look really cold." He meowed flinching at her body movments. Would she get a cold from being out here with me?

"S-sur-re."she chattered. Lunarshine stood,her pelt slicked flat with water.

"HELP!!!!" Screeched Owlkit in tears, as a fox trap clamped over his paw, the small kit, had run away at the first mention of him getting fat, and had wandered straight into a trap. Now he was mentally cursing himself that he had even come out of their without Tansykit his best friend, or even his more impressive older brother, Hawkkit.
