Kit Play (Open)

Gizmo bounced happily into the nursery singing a song about field of gold, where the prey lined up to be eaten at your paws, disturbing countless Queens, who simply laughed at his immature song, though some were not as pleased to see him so close to their kits. Most likely because he still smelled of Rogue stench and kittypets stench. "Ah, you kits, you have such wonderful mothers."

"Hello?"Mistkit mumbled,her sapphire eyes blinking open. She'd just moved back from the medicine den after a bout of greencough,and she was tired.

Blazekit padded out of the nursery, to see if something is going on. I wanna play with someone, she thought. Then she saw a leaf and bounced on it, flicking it in the air over and over again.

Snowkit, one of Dawnfurs litter joined her sister. He prowled up behind her and leapt.
"Got you!!!" He yowled as he jumped off. He playfully raked his sheathed claws down Blazekits side. Accidently he unsheathed them.

"Snowkit! Sheath those claws before you hurt your sister!" Dawnfur called. 5 kits were hard to look after.

Blazekit was startled when Snowkit jumped on her. She fell to the side where Snowkit was not as she felt a little pain shot through her body. "Ouch!", she meowed. "You've clawed me!" She crouched back a bit from her brother and licked over the little scratch on her side. Furtunately it was really just a small scratch. "I'll pay this back to you!", she hissed, while licking the wound.

(She exaggerates a bit, because she is the oldest of 6 Kits and the only one of this litter, so she wants a bit more attention ^^
Hope it's right what I read with Blazekit was the only kit in her litter and the other 5 came later)

Mistkit looked at the other kits sleepily. "Hey,"she croaked,her tiny form shivering as she coughed weakly. Her blue eyes were glazed with exhaustion,her coat gleaming dully from lack of washing. She had a nest all to herself,as she had no siblings or parents. I miss Petalclaw...

(Yup blaze you is right.)
"Snowkit say sorry to your sister now!" Dawnfur mewed sternly.

Snowkit shrank back.
"I am sorry." He mewed quietly.

"To your sister not to me." Dawnfur corrected.

"Sorry. Now lets play with the apprentices!" Snowkit said suddenly britening up. He scampered out of the nursery.

Dawnfur looked at Mistkit. The porr thing didn't have any parents or siblings. Dawnfur got up and padded over to Mistkit. She picked the kit up gingerly in her teeth and toke her over to her nest. Dawnfur lay the kit at the edge in of the nest and lay down herself. Dawnfur pulled Mistkit closer to her and started grooming through her matted and clumped fur.
"You poor thing." Dawnfur whispered.

"Thanks,"Mistkit mewed,curling up into a tight ball. The black stripes that mingled with her silvery fur were barely visible and she yawned,her ears twitching slightly.

Blazekit was not sure what to do now. She really wanted to play with her brother, but on the other side, she don't want to let Mistkit back at the nursery. She padded over to Mistkit and Dawnfur.
"Dawnfur, is Mistkit well enough to come with Snowkit and me to play with the apprentices? They could show us some fighting moves and we could play with all these leaves on the ground!"
She looked back over her shoulder to the apprentices den. "Do you wanna come?", she asked Mistkit.

Mistkit brightened. "Of course." She looked up at Dawnfur. "Can I?"she asked.

(Blaze just re read. The rest of the kits have been born, snowkit being one of them.)
Dawnfur looked down at her kit and then glanced at the frail Mistkit.
"As long as you don't over do it!" She said in a calm tone.

(Yeah but the other Kits aren't rp'd ^^)
"Great!", Blazekit squealed and darted after her brother to the apprentices den.

Rockkit darted after his siblings,looking back at Mistkit. "C'mon!"he squeaked,racing after them again.

Mistkit ran after them,her eyes shining but yet still dull.

Dawnkit's head poked up curiously, though she let out a long yawn. She rubbed her eyes with her paws, and looked at the other kits.
"Humpf." she grumbled. "Start a game and don't wake me up. You'll be sorry!" she yowled playfully, her kitten down flicking off. She glanced down.
"Huh." she said, snagging a bit of fur on her claw deliberately. "Must be falling off 'cause of the weather."
Dawnkit wriggled her haunches and let out a terrifying sheathed swipe.

(rain remeber that rockkit is half blind. what he can see if fuzzy.)

Dawnfur let out a mroww of amusment. Kits really were a handful.

Blazekit returned to the nursery for a nap. Playing made her tired. Not long until I become an apprentice... How will it be?, she thought.
She was now 5 moons and one half moon old and she was really excited.
"Mommy?", she mewed. "Who do you think will be my mentor?" She curled beside her mother, but held the head still high for an answer.
