The kits...

"There are five kits that are ready to be apprentices." Shadowclaw called as he entered the leaders den.
"Deathkit, Robinkit, Spiralkit, Ebonykit and Tigerkit." He nodded listing them.
"Tigerkit and Deathkit should have been apprentices many weeks ago. But I think its not too late? Is it Echodrops wish to have an apprenice yet? One if these kits could help her on the journey." He offered.

Shadowstar shifted and sat up. "This means we'll have to find warriors ready for apprentices..." she mumbled. "I haven't heard anything from Echodrop which is a straight yes-no answer." she smiled to herself, her long fangs gleaming. "Maybe I should take on an apprentice."

BlackClaw sat beside ShadowStar, listening silently. "I have been watching Tigerkit recently." He said quietly. "I think he would be a good apprentice for Echodrop. She could use a little help, since she's pretty new to being the medicine cat."

"That's double-edged." Shadow turned to her friend and said to him thoughtfully, "While Echodrop is still learning herself, she could be grateful of a helping paw. On the other side of things, she doesn't know her way around things too well at this point, and may find it too difficult to teach a new student." she licked a paw. "Now, about the other four kits...would you be willing to apprentice one, Blackclaw? We need experienced warriors to mentor the young ones. If we are unable to find enough cats, I myself will take a kit as an apprentice."

"I guess I could take one." BlackClaw said, rolling onto his back. He stared into space, pondering what it would be like to have an apprentice.

"As the deputy, shouldn't I have some say in this? I think it is time Nightjaw had his first apprentice. He hasn't had one and I am sure he would like one." Shadowclaw thought

"Um..what are you talking about? I am deputy." BlackClaw exclaimed.

OOC: ShadowClaw, I dun think you can have a meddie apperentice and deputy, especaily in the SAME clan.....

ooc: Nope, you can but it's not really ethical.

OOC: and I believe Spiral, Ebony, and Robin are only like 4 moons

OOC: i actually have no idea how old these kits are >< but they have to be at least 6 moons to become apprentices.

Also, I agree with River and Larch's first post. Shadowclaw, take your pick between Med cat or Deputy.

OCC: If Nightjaw does get an apprentice I'd rather it wasn't Deathkit if thats what your thinking Fizzy. There would be a lot of double posting and it would get boring teching myself things lol

(OK shadowclaw will resign from deputy. If tigerkit is not the medicine cat then shadowclaw will stay as deputy. Ignore the last posts although Blackclaw I have never seen except for now during my deputiship. I was told that you hadn't come on line. I would like tigerkit to be medicine cat apprentice. a wolvine I didn't think you would wanna mentor deathkit. Maybe spiralkit or somethiing.)

IC: Shadowstar ran the names over in her head. "Nightjaw should be able to take...Spiralkit? That sounds stable. I think I will take on an apprentice, too." she turned to her deputy, "Blackclaw, do you have any preference in which cat to take on?"

BlackClaw thought for a moment. "Tigerkit looks promising..."

(Tigerkit is going to be the medicine cat apprentice!!! I will take deputiship back if she becomes a warrior apprentice!!!)

"I thought we decided that Tigerkit was to be medicine cat apprentice?" Shadowclaw asked catiously.

OOC: Aww.... Foxkit was left out... Lawlz, there hasn't been much to post with him, anyways... Cause I never really posted in other Detective Kit things.. xDDD

"Tigerkits destiny lies with Starclan as a medcine cat. Are you a medicine cat?" Shadowclaw added the last bit with a hint of humour.

(Well tigerkit isn't going to be a warrior. If she becomes a warriors apprentice then I get deputy back.)

"Oh right, my apologies..." BlackClaw said. He hesitated for a moment. "So who is left?"

"Deathkit, Robinkit, and Ebonykit are left." Shadow replied thoughtfully. "I'll take on Robinkit as my apprentice." she tapped the damp soily ground with a forepaw.
