Cries of a kit

Suddenly a loud yowling could be heard.It came from outside the walls cinnamonkit was out there, and scared she called and called for help hopeing it would come.She wailed louder and louder each time.

Goldenpaw sped out from the medicine den to check on his kit friend "Cinnamonkit! Are you okay? Did any of the rogues find you? You don't look hurt."

Wails ecohed thourgh the clearing.Cinnamonkit back in her hole in the forest was scared to death, and could barely breath cause of it.Her wails shortend with unheard gasps.

Goldenpaw squeezed through the the tree trunk hole, which expanded to a small hollow, big enough for one den. "Are you okay?" he repeated, "I'm glad you came here. None of those rogues could've found you here. Let's get back to the camp. The fight is over."

"o-o-ok"she studdered squeezing thourgh the crack in ceiling of the hole.Her fur was ragged she had barley eaten.Cinnamonkit looked up at her den she had stayed in.She stared at his wounds."Are you ok"She mewed staring at the oozing boold.All she could wish at the moment is that he wouldn't die.She had only a few scratchs from a darkclan cat that went after her.The one above her eye still stung.

"I'll be fine. I'm just concerned about you. Your just a kit, and you've already endured your first battle wound." he mewed sternly to the ginger kit. He eyes had a humorous gleam "I got my first battle wound when I was a kit. Watertail and I had taken on som badgers. I got an ear scar, along with other scratches and cuts, but they never became scars." he ran his tail along her back and flinched. His tail wound was starting to burn. He would have to see the medicine cat soon.

She didn't belive he would be fine but accepted it as an answer."I bet that warrior got his frist wound from a kit today.I got him right in his eyeball"She mewed pround of herself.She quickly cleaned her cuts.There was the one above the eye, streak like ones on her tail.There were some on her hip ,and flank, she had a small slit in her ear matching his perfectly.

Goldenpaw could stop a purr rise in his throat. He nudged her flank, not hard enough to hurt her though "I sure wouldn't want to run into a killer like you." he teased. They started walk back to camp, shoulder to shoulder.

She walked.When they went into camp she.Tried to scare him.She unsheathed her claws jumped up made a funky face in his makeing a weird sound with forelegs up in air.

Goldenpaw, bewildered, stopped dead in his tracks "What in StarClan are you doing? That cut on your eyes must be getting to your head." he meowed, giggling.

"nah just haveing fun"she purred.

Mintpaw was padding past Goldenpaw and Cinnamonkit when she saw the odd scene taking place. She stopped by them sighing playfully yet serious, "One of our only kits left and she's gone totally mouse-brained."

She grined.than rushed to the freash kill pile eating"nooo its emtpy i'm hungrey". it dawned on her she was six moons old now."i'm not insane i'm weird."She never was much for being around others

Goldenpaw cuffed her playfully "No, your fine." he purred. "I can go catch a rabbit, I think." his paw was throbbing, but he too was hungry. His pain was going to have to be put aside.

"Are you sure"She mewed teaseingly.Looking at him like he was a nuthouse.

Mintpaw noticed how weary Goldenpaw looked and took pity on him. "I'm coming with you, don't need any stray DarkClan cats picking you off, now do we?" she meowed a little more playfully than before and then added, "I hope there are still some rabbits out after all the noise we stirred up."

Cinnamonkit looked down."or after my wailing.She licked goldenpaw's check.she had to stand up like a twoleg to do this.

"Yeah." he said to her face, his whole body was still blood red, and he was starting to lose feeling in his paw and the tip of his tail. "You want to go hunting too?"

"Yes!"She may not be a apprintece but she could still hunt good.Her eyes lite up.

"Alright then, let's go." he limed out of the entrance of the camp, stopped, and looked to see if his companions were following.

Goldenpaw still waited for Mintpaw. He touched noses with Cinnamonkit after licking her on the cheek once and a few times between her ears.
