Love-Struck & Heart Broken

Owlkit wailed in sorrow, in the back of the Nursery, wrapped in a tiny little ball trying to make himself as insignificant as possible and basically disappear out of existence. Tears if cats could cry them would be streaming down his eyes soaking his pelt and flooding the Nursery. Nothing could describe the pain he was in. But it wasn't a thorn in his pad or gas. It was his heart. Someone had broken it. He let loose another wail, it was only a few days since that tom and she-cat had torn his heart out and now... He hadn't eaten in days, food kept on reminding him of Naruto.

Tansykit walked into the nursery, his ear pricked. What was going on? He saw Owlkit inside in tight ball. He looked sad, terrible actually. What happened to him? Was he okay? Tansykit padded over to his friend and looked down at him. He tilted his head as he looked over him.

"Are you okay?" He asked Owlkit.

"Oh, no I'm fine. It's just my heart's been ripped out of it's chest!" he screeched loudly. Not even looking at his age old friend. He was back, reliving the best fifteen minutes of his life with Naruto... Until all that was shattered by the tom named... He didn't have a name! That was the worst part, without a name he couldn't curse his name to StarClan... Or NightClan or his ancestors.

Tansykit's ears drooped. Heart ripped out? How? When? Why? Was there something he was missing? Right now, it seemed like it. He felt sorry for his friend. Whatever this unknown she-cat had done, it seemed to have wrecked him, broken him, and drowned him in a river of sorrow and pain. He sat down next to him.

"What happened?" He asked. He wasn't sure he should have asked that question, so he quickly added, "You don't have to tell me... if you don't want to."

"Then I won't tell you." meowed Owlkit making a deep muffled sighing noise. Before bleekly adding a weak and dispirited "Tannnnnnnnnnsykit." before breaking into a fit of sobs and tears. The little tom wailed again, thinking of the only she-cat he had ever loved... Besides the other 44 he had seen.

Tansykit nodded his head and eased down into a laying position next to him. He pressed up next to him. He wanted to comfort his friend, but he wasn't sure how to do it. He was lost, very lost. He had never had a love for himself, so he didn't know what it was like to have that taken away.

"It's going to be alright, Owlkit. That she-cat probably wasn't even worth your time." Eh, it sounded better in his head.

Eaglekit padded into the nursery. Who was making all that noise, it sounded like an elephant with a bad cold. Of course it had to be Owlkit, he was always like this; Licking, and make a big deal out of EVERYTHING! She padded along side Tansykit "What wrong now?" she whisperd, then Eaglekit turned to her brother, "Whats wrong Owlkit? Are you okay?" she went around giving him some sort of a hugish thing.....

"Leave me alone! I just want to sulk about Naruto!" he screeched recoiling from his sisters touch. He didn't need more she-cats around him, he needed tom time. But there were she-cats everywhere. All with faces that reminded him of Naruto.

Foxkit looked up sleepily. "Naru what?"she mewed,eyes glazed over with sleep. "And I was having the best dream about a mouse!"she complained,standing up and licking at her chest fur,which was splayed in all directions.

Hawkkit stared at his brother, confusion playing at his face. She-cats. Bah Humbag to them. The tom was about to confort his brother when Tansykit padded in, doing it for him.

He has his own friends. He doesn't need you anymore.

He felt a hole punctuate his heart.

Eaglekit padded to Hawkkit, why was Owlkit being like this? I mean Eaglekit didn't expect much less, but he was always over it within minutes. And it looked as if Tansykit took Hawkkits place as the older brother. "Are you okay?" she meowed into his ear.

The huge kit stared at his sister. At least he still had her. Hawkkit nodded, but then sighed. This sigh was followed by a deep growl, barely pronouncing the words. "I'm his brother; that should be my job." Owlkit likely got himself messed up at a border, seeing a gorgeous she-cat but knowing he couldn't have her. Then again, that wouldn't likely stop him.

"Where is this "Naruto"?"Foxkit asked,standing up and trotting over to the group,but keeping a respectable distance away,knowing how the others viewed her. As a freak.

"Naruto? Whats a Naruto?" asked Owlkit having gotten over the she-cat quickly. Most of his crushes only lasted that long anyway. "Oh, hey Foxkit, were just having a group hug, come on and join us!"

"Okay?"Foxkit said in confusion,padding warily over to the small group.

Hm.... so it seemed as this "Naruto" she-cat was the one that cause him this pain. He seemed to have gotten over it, so Tanykit said nothing about it. He stood up and glance over at Hawkkit. Something seemed... wrong with him. Tansykit tilted his head, not knowing what it was, but then shrugged it off. It seemed as if Owlkit wanted a group hug now. Maybe he'd forget about this whole thing.
