SEARCH PARTY

Sandfur relaxed. "You are the loner? So the nursery tales are true?" She searched the other cat's faces. "We are looking for one of our clan members. A she-cat must have passed here not long ago. Have you seen her or heard of her? Her name is Sunflower.", she mewed.

Danai laughed. "Nursery tales? So ThunderClan has been keeping an eyes on me!" Then he turned serious. "Sunflower,you say? I saw a ginger cat walking towards the RiverClan camp with ThunderClan scent all over her. Would that be Sunflower?"

She looked at the others and saw the same expression on every cat's face. It's her.
"Indeed. To the camp you said?" To the party members she mewed: "What should we do now? We can't easily cross the border to Riverclan with such a huge party. It would look like we're invading. We have to split up. Some of us will wait on the border for a Riverclan Patrol who will bring them to the camp so they can look for Sunflower there. The other could go back and tell the rest of the clan what's up."

Danai shook his head. "I heard fighting. And yowling. I wouldn't go if I were you. She might have brought trouble to your Clan."he warned,his ears flicking. "I'll go and wait outside the camp,if Silverstar agrees."he said,dipping his head in respect to the silver she-cat.

Sandfur looked with shock and alarm. Fighting? Yowls? Hopefully Sunflower didn't brought war... Hopefully she's okay..., she thought.

ooc- ... You're making mighty important commands for a new warrior Sandfur. >> *growls*

Silverstar stared at the loner, he didn't seem to pose a threat. The she-cat narrowed her eyes slightly at Sandfur, giving orders to her cats. She needed to learn her place. Soon. She did not show her distaste however, and spoke calmly, maybe a tad cooly though.

"Our clan need not know this Sandfur. Sunflower seems to have gotten herself in a bit of a mess. It is true however, that a patrol will cause quite a commotion in RiverClan." She paused, licking her silver lips in thought. "Danai," Silverstar nodded "That would be most honorable. If you could bring Whisperpaw and Fawnpaw with you, her children, they may release her without a fight. If not ... we'll see what happens. Hopefully though, the fight you heard earlier did not involve her; though we best not get our hopes up. We would be very grateful is you could bring out clanmate back."

Danai dipped his head. "Thank you,Silverstar. I have heard much about you from the patrols that pass by;you are an honorable leader. I do hope we meet again in the future."he meowed,standing. He beckoned with his tail for Whisperpaw and Fawnpaw to follow,eyes kind. "I will come to your camp with Sunflower as soon as possible,and then return to my life as a loner."he said in a sincere voice.

Silverstar murmured her thanks, nodding in respect. "And if you can do this for us Danai, you are certainly a noble cat as well." The she-cat flicked her tail, signaling the rest of the patrol should head back. If this loner was not back by sunrise the next day, Silverstar would go looking for him, and that would not be good. She tilted ehr head to the sky, imagining her sister, Quailfeather, watching her. I hope I made the right decision.

Whisperpaw simply nodded, padding towards Danai cautiously. If it meant getting his mother back; the tom would even go with a 'mysterious loner'. Fur bristling despite the fact that the tom's eyes were kind and welcoming, Whisperpaw waited for Fawnpaw so they could go find Sunflower.

"Don't worry,"Danai murmured. "I wouldn't hurt you unless you attacked me. I was raised to defend those that are in trouble." He smiled,remembering what his foster mother had taught him. She was long dead,but Danai still remembered the lessons he'd learned. "I will take good care of them. Let's go."

Raintalon nodded, his tail fluffed up. He didn't like the idea of going into another clans territory, but it was for sunflower. "So who will go where?" He mewed, flattening his ears.

bic: Fawnpaw padded to her brother's side, pressing against his flank. She was still wary of the loner. Unwilling to leave her friends, she was still happy to have the chance to find Sunflower first.
With her brother, of course.

Aspenleaf narrowed his eyes as he watched the apprentices start toward Danai. Turning to Silverstar, he rumbled, "Should I go with them?" he flicked his tail. "Besides, if there is a fight, they'll need more warriors." he didn't have anything against Danai or the apprentices, but it was true. If there would be a fight, then more than one cat and two half-trained apprentices would be needed for defense.

Silverstar brushed past Aspenleaf's ear, whispering softly to him. "Follow them at a distance; make sure no harm comes to them and Sunflower comes back safely."

Danai padded towards the RiverClan border,padding past his home on the border in an old fox-hole. "That's where I live."he mewed,pointing at it with his tail.

Aspenleaf nodded. "I'll make sure of it."
He trottted in a slightly different direction as Danai and the apprentices, making sure to keep them in sight.

"Cool." she gave a dismissive flick the whiskers, getting more and more excited as they neared the RiverClan territory.

ooc: ironic Aspen's trying to save Sun, no? When they first met, he practiacally killed 'er.

Danai sighed and trotted faster,entering the territory of cats who swim.

Sandfur watched as the loner and the 3 Thunderclan cats padded into the darkness toward Riverclan.
"What are we going to do now, Silverstar?"
