The Beginning of the Army [open]

Halostep breathed in deeply, filling her lungs with sweet oxygen. Every breath nowadays seemed a pain ... a terrible wrenching pain in her stomach. However, she savored the breath, although wishing the breath would be in nicer weather. Still, stormclouds and mists covered the entire territory of the clans. She could only hope her kits would survive, although she would do everything in her power to stop them from leaving her and joining StarClan before the opposite happens. Suddenly, the femme's abdomen convulsed, bowling her over in pain.

The she-cat shouted, feeling another convulsion. The kits were coming! NOW! Halostep called out, hoping the birth would run smoothly.

ooc- Yush. Already they come. Celestialkit - Albino with red eyes. Cobrakit - a beigy-brown color with slitted eyes and big ears. Azurekit - A russian blue with blue eyes.

"Halostep!"Windstorm yowled,jumping up from her nest and rushing over to her fellow queen's side. "The kits are coming!"she shouted at the rest of the camp,her eyes wide. "Just relax,"the older queen mewed soothingly,turning to Halostep.

Firenose pricked his ears and stopped eating his rabbit. There were cries coming from the nursery, he realized. Springing up, he dashed to the nursery and broke through the protective brambles to see Halostep convulsing, spasms jerking her body. Staring in shock, he mewed with panic, "She's giving birth? Now?"

"Yes now! Get the medicine cat!"Windstorm hissed,her eyes full of dismay.

OOC: Medicine cat is unactive, so just go with what i say.

"But its the half-moon! The medicine cat wont be back until dawn!" Firenose hissed, clearly stressed. Shaking his head, he mewed more calmy, "You've had kits before, what herbs did the medicine cat use on you? Do you remember?" He questioned impatiently, his eyes round.

Windstorm's eyes were wide. "I-I think they used borage. And Tansy!"she said,her heart hammering in her frail chest.

OOC: FIRST liiter

IC: Pantherfin raced into the nursery, his mate giving birth to their kits with no medicine cat. "Halostep!? Was anyone here witnessed kit birth?" he meowed, trying to seem as calm as possible. "Can you get those herbs Windstorm? Fast!"

Firenose stopped himself from shoving his muzzle into his paws and vanishing from the scene. "Uh, i know what those herbs smell like." He mewed, screwing up his face. Racing into the medicine cat den, he reappearred with two herbs clamped in his jaws. "Are these right?" He mewed questioningly.

"Yes!"Windstorm mewed quickly. "Halostep,eat these!"she meowed softly,her eyes warm. A pain struck her belly but she ignored it,focused on the other queen.

Firenose sighed with relief. If he had gotten the wrong herbs, a disastor could have occured.

Halostep winced as another convulsion came and she collapsed on her nest, breathing shallowly. It was sure a painful one. The queen felt a warm sense of relief as Pantherfin rushed into the nursery and she felt immediately better. It took nearly all her effort to bend over and clasp the herbs in her jaws, but she managed, swallowing them in big peices.

"You'll be fine,"Windstorm assured her,laying her tail comfortingly on Halostep's shoulder.

Firenose licked his chest briskly, trying to hide the fear showing in his eyes. "Are you sure she wont die? Those kits could become great warriors if she lives through this." He mewed, trying to sound more formal.

OOC: XD Does Firey have a thing for Halostep or something?

OOC: Nah, he just freak out when kits die. He has a hidden soft spot for them. xD

OOC: That would be my job Lyra XD

"She'll be fine."Windstorm snapped,her eyes blazing. "You can leave now,Halostep needs room." She winced as a pain sliced through her belly,so strong it almost knocked her off her paws.

OOC: But he asked if she would be alright. . .

OOC: As anyother caring cat would.

ooc- Would make a good Ashfur scenario if he liked her however. He goes after Celestialkit, Cobrakit, and Azurekit.

Firenose spotted the pain in the old she-cats eyes. "Uh oh.." He mewed, so softly it was almost impossible to hear. Then, louder and more panic stricken he mewed, "Your not having YOUR kits too, are you!?"

OOC: But Firenose isn't exactly caring. . .(Horrible understatement)

OOC: Yeah, he's kinda like Tigerstar as Wolvine put it. But as i said, he cares for some cats and always kits.

"I'm not sure. It's more painful than the last time,"Windstorm growled,her breath coming in quick gasps. She lay down gently in her own nest,her eyes closing in pain.

Firenose froze, his paws stuck in the ground. "This is horrible! No medicine cat, and two she cats giving birth!" He wailed, shaking his head.
