Shimmerpaw lost (open)

Shimmerpaw wandered around Riverclan's territory, *MY clan,* She thought fiercly to herself. Riverclan definately was an improvement compared to where she had lived before, but she was still getting used to clan life, and still some of the cats didn't accept her. Since was six moons old, she was an 'apprentice' now, but she didn't know who her mentor was, or what she was suppossed to do. Bored, and tired of being stuck in camp all day, she snuck out to explore.

It was morning, so the dew was sparkling, reflecting the colours of bright green of the trees and clear blue from the sky. Shimmerpaw inhaled and savored the scent of wet bark and fresh rain. *If only every day could be like this, then it would be perfect...almost* she thought to herself. She loved Riverclan, and the sense of family and safety that came with being a part of a clan, but she wanted more than that, she wanted a friend.

Flarestorm,the large ginger RiverClan warrior,had been out hunting,her green eyes wide and her nostrils flaring in search of prey scent,when she'd spotted Shimmerpaw. "Hey,"she called,trotting over. "Has Shadowstar figured out who you're mentor will be yet?"
