Tracing (open to all but those who plan to kill Silverpelt)

The silver she-cat padded along the ThunderClan side of the border, scenting the area and her eyes narrow as she picks up a strange mingle of scents.

The mingle of scents this mysterious she-cat would be smelling, where an almost repulsive combination of rogue, RiverClan, and just a hint of Thunderclan (Which was, thankfully, a minority), this scent was horrid to those that weren't bathed in it every second of everyday. Maplepaw, glared at the she-cat with menacing pale red eyes that burned her pelt, even from her far distance. She was in a clearing, surrounded completely, except for a small path that led into Thunderclan, that this strange she-cat was standing on, by the large and sentry like pines, that were common in DarkClan, that all the cats living here had been accustomed to hiding under.

The dark brown (made dark red in any light) tabby she-cat, held a bloody mouse from her jaws, she had been hunting, before she had arrived a few foxtails from the border, when she had seen the gleaming light gray pelt. She looked at the she-cat with a blank face, neither surprised, or angry. She had seen thousands of rogues wander through the territory, most wanting to join, before they were chased out. And this one was nothing different, she even looked like she was trying to track the camp of DarkClan. Obviously a newcomer soon to join. But her scent... It was so familiar, though it was hard to discern from so far away, but it was familiar. And made Maplepaw wonder... Where had she smelled it before.

Her pelt shone like the stars in Silverpelt, even though it was broad daylight, and entranced Maplepaw, for but a fainting moment, and then it was gone. She was just another loner again. "Looks like you're looking for DarkClan." she meowed like she been through the same routine over and over again, and technically she had, but more like every second of every day. If only she was just a little bit more lucky, and didn't have to have the misfortune of meeting every new cat that came by. She could barely match names with the faces of these new cats.

The she-cat whipped her head up. "You... you look a little like that cat that dropped Stealthclaw's body into the river!" Her pelt rippled. "I know you had something to do with his death, so tell me!" She hissed.

A huge she-cat stared out of some briar bushes,her amber eyes full of interest. She was downwind,and her pelt blended with the shadows,so she was perfectly hidden. She wanted to see what her apprentice would do against a loner,and her interest peaked when the she-cat mentioned Stealthclaw. Looks like he was her mate.she thought,a smirk playing on her lips. Her unusually long front canine teeth poked out of her jaws,giving her a scary,malicious appearance that would frighten the fur off of this other cat with the pelt as bright as stars. Spiderfang was ready to intervine if the fight got out of hand,where,somehow,this she-cat would get the best of Maplepaw,which was nearly impossible,despite how little training she had given her.

Maplepaw's eyes flashed shock, but was replaced by bliss. This she-cat knew that idiot tom, Stealthclaw? That was a crazy! But Maplepaw had witnessed to many crazy things to care. So this cat was friends or maybe mates with Stealthclaw, and obviously had vision problems. She wasn't the one who had dropped Stealthclaw's body in the river. That streak of brilliance was all to Featherpaw, though Maplepaw was jealous of this fact, and wished it had been her. How could this she-cat mistaken the silver she-cat Featherpaw, with a dark red tabby she-cat that was slightly bigger, and definitely much more well-muscled.

And then a strange emotion hit Maplepaw, at least for a second, she could vision this she-cat walking to the river, expecting a calm drink, and see a great friend/mate's corpse being dropped into the river. It must of been heartbreaking, but Maplepaw didn't care, it wasn't her problem, that bumbling tom had led himself to death, if you asked her, Featherpaw had let him off easy. The pain of broken ribs and a slow agonizing death would have been much worse for the tom. But that's probably how this she-cat envisioned it, a she-cat carrying the battered body of Stealthclaw into oblivion.

And then so suddenly, before Maplepaw could even speak, a heavy scent brushed past her, and a wind carried with it. Obviously the bounding body of Spiderfang, her mentor, who always interjected herself, into Maplepaw's problems. "Spiderfang?" she meowed, her forehead creasing with anger, and astonishment. And then she turned back to the silver she-cat who looked battle ready, and Maplepaw realized her claws were still sheathed. She scraped the ground, revealing her bloody claws, "Yes... I had something to do with his death. What? Did you think I was going to hide it from you, a widow deserves to know the truth of her mates death."

Silverpelt took another step closer to the border, "Then talk, DarkClan filth!" Her pelt prickled again and her eyes narrowed.

Spiderfang chuckled. Maplepaw had noticed her. But she wasn't going to fight unless the impossible happened.

Maplepaw winced, acting like the words 'DarkClan filth' hurt her. This she-cat was basically mocking her own mate, who had begged and even crept into DarkClan just to join, and be filth with them. "Oh so direct you are. I'm not going to give you all the details that quickly, tell me about you first. How were you and Stealthclaw related, and if you were close, why would you have ever been separated?" she asked with a smile, and noticing Spiderfang's chuckle, she predicted it to mean, that she was hear for back up, even though it wouldn't be needed.

Maplepaw took a step closer to the she-cat, "It strains my voice to talk so loudly to someone so far away, why don't we move closer?" she asked, her voice taking a kind and soft tone. Yes, close enough, so my claws can pierce your throat, and I can rip your NightClan forsaken head clean off. she thought viciously, even though her movements were in direct contrast to this. She was acting as if this she-cat was her friend, even though she didn't even know her name, or anything about her really. Her pale red eyes shredding through this she-cats soul, and right through her, like dagger-sharp claws.

This she-cat was almost the opposite of Stealthclaw in a way. Stealthclaw had no devotion to his mate, this Maplepaw knew by experience, that tom had even flirted with her once or twice. While this nameless she-cat was completely entranced with him, even though he was dead, and by her manner, she looked like she would give her own life to bring him back to this world, just to be close to him. Maplepaw couldn't understand this at all, in fact it confused her, how could a she-cat love a tom that much. She had never experienced this level of love, or adoration, even with her own father or mother, with no tom or she-cat. With no one. And this love... It made her skin crawl. It vexed her greatly.

The she-cat hissed and unsheathed her claws. "I will tell you after you tell me what I want..." Her eyes narrowed. "Unless you want me to fight you for it." She glanced slightly over to the direction of Spiderfang, but doesn't see the warrior, and looks back at the apprentice.
