Eh...hunting. (Member and Goldenpaw)

Batpaw sat silently at the river,staring into the fast moving water with cold,uncaring eyes. He saw a flash of silver,and lashed out with his paw,sending the fish high into the air. It flopped onto the frost covered ground,and he nipped it's neck,killing it.

((River is poisoned... *laughs at Batpawsoontodiepants*))

OOC:But all the RC cats are eating the fish and they aren't dying. Plus,it'd only give him belly-ache.

ooc: u so mean. grrr

Rainpaw sat beside Batpaw, not saying a word. She saw another silver splash go by, but didn't bother. She stared into the water.

((They ignored it... It's poisoned with cat blood... But, sure bellyache.))

OOC: Yeah... RC kittehs get bellyaches... and when the fish get sick from the poison.. and when they die from it and taint the water more. >3 Hehe, death to come.

Spotpaw sat at the edge of the river and looked down into the water. She turned her head quickly when she saw the flash of fish that Rainpaw had forgotten. And then she complains about how someone should talk to her. She though bitterly.

With one quick swipe Spotpaw flicked the flish out of the water and onto shore. It flopped on the shore, it's breath slowing going away in the cold air. She let it sit there, not bothering to bite into it. It's take care of itself.

"You know, Rainpaw, you shouldn't come hunting if your not going to hunt."

OOC:Really. The worst RiverClan got in the books from poisoned water from a dead body was really bad bellyaches. Only one cat died,and he was an elder.

Batpaw ignored his Clanmate,his golden eyes gleaming as he took another fish's life. The water slid smoothly over his pelt as silver droplets of water splashed onto his fur from the impact of his paw,but he didn't feel the icy trickles.

OOC: Yesh, but this one has deathberry in it. >3

Spotpaw looked back into the stilling water. So far, she couldn't find another fish. They were all probably down stream It seemed likely they'd retreat from areas of hunting. She looked through the clear water carefully, seeing nothing, not making any sudden move as to not scare away the fish.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot, I don't hunt like you." She rose to her feet and launched herself into the freezing river. She ducked her head beneath the water and opened her eyes, looking for a fish.
She saw a massive carp heading her way. She swam to where it would be and held her self steady, ready to tear into it's scaley body. It swam up to her, unaware of Rainpaw wading there. She pounced onto it in the water, holding her breath the whole time.
It shook her furiously, panicing. Rainpaw held on, trying to find the neck of the fish. She found the carp's vulnerable spot and dove her jaws around it, a blood curtling crunch. She dragged it over to the surface and broke above the water.
Rainpaw breathed in the fresh scents of the forest and pulled herself and the carp out of the water and onto the bank. The carp was huge, almost the size of her. She struggled to drag it beside her, back to her clanmates. She dropped it at the Spotpaw's feet.
"You shouldn't be here if you're not going to hunt." she mimicked.

Batpaw felt a sudden pain flash through his belly,and he cringed,closing one eye in pain. Another pang jolted through him,stronger. Were the fish poisoned..?he thought,confused. Had the fish been poisoned? He'd heard something about a body being thrown in the river. Could that be it?

"Thanks for that, Rainpaw. Now you've scares all the fish away with your mad splashing." Spotpaw retorted. She looked back in the water, nothing, nothing at all. Nothing coming in, and nothing coming out. They were all gone. No prey left. She got up and walked farther upstream and then downstream.

She growled angrily before spinning to face Rainpaw. "Thanks a lot you bee-brain! There's nothing left! Now we have to look for them again!"

"What's wr--" she managed to mutter before she started to feel the same agonizing belly pains. She crounched beside the river and vomitted vile water. She moaned in pain as the pains ebbed away. She must have swallowed some water when catching her carp.

Batpaw doubled over in agony,laying on his side and panting. He vomitted as well,a horrible,retching sound escaping his throat. "Poisoned....Fish..."he gasped,his legs splayed.

Spotpaw's eyes widened as she saw both of her clanmates go down. What was the problem? She heard Batpaw say something about the fish, but... how could they be poisoned!?

She bounded over to them and looked them over. How could she get two sick cats back to RiverClan!?

Rainpaw gasped as her pain stopped and became a slight shock that contiuously went the her belly. She stood and grapped Batpaw by his scruff. She began dragging him, but he was too heavy for her when she was so weak. "Spotpaw. Help me get him back to camp." she mewed, hoping she would forget their vendetta.

Batpaw felt his Clanmates trying to drag him,his vision swimming.

Spotpaw nodded and grabbed Batpaw's scruff as well and hauled him towards the camp with Rainpaw. "You sure you're alright to do this?" Spotpaw asked her through a mouth full of fur. Batpaw was too big for this, but she was strong enough to bring him back without much strain.

"I have to." Rainpaaw muttered weakly as they neared the camp.
