Fight! (Mossy only)

Silverpelt emerged from the underbrush near the WindClan border. Scenting the air, the she-cat scowled, having smelled a WindClan cat coming. "Great... Just what I need." she muttered and began to pace the border, waiting to see if the other cat was hostile or not.

Waterstorm emerged from the bush that he was patrolling in to check the air. He scented one shadow clan cat, and strangely close to the border at that. His fur bristled. "What do those shadow clan want now?" He thought to himself, stepping out into the open. "I know you're there. Show yourself." he called out, expecting the cat to attack.

Silverpelt smirked and said, "Well, well... Another WindClan cat. What do you want?" She padded into the open, her silver fur sparkling slightly.

"I was about to ask you the same question, you're awful close to the border." Waterstorm ready for an attack, he kept scenting the air, and smelled no other cats coming.

Silverpelt sighed. "You're not as friendly as one of your apprentices... Ah well... I'm sort of doing my own patrol." she said, crouching into a battle stance and added, "And I'm willing to fight, if I have to."

Waterstorm dropped into his defensive stance and added, "There is no need to fight, unless you force me to. Oh yes, about that apprentice, which one would that be?"

Mosspaw scented Waterstorm's scent by heading out for patrols by himself, so he decided to follow his trail.

OOC: Mosspaws coming, but wont b there 4 a while.

"And why would I tell you that?" the she-cat asked before unsheathing her claws.

"I believe that I should know." Waterstorm unsheathed his claws, and seeing that this cat had done the same, he asked, "What is your name?"

"And why do you care? Want to know who the she-cat was that beat you?" she teased, trying to get Waterstorm to make the first move.

Waterstorm waited patiently, he was a defensive cat, and wouldn't be punished for starting an unnecessary fight. "Yes, beat me... Are you going to tell me or are you not?"

Mosspaw charged through the trees towards Waterstorms scent, he knew that he should have went out with a patrol, but he didn't have a mentor until the next night, so he didn't have anything better to do.

Silverpelt sighed, "You won't be tempted into a fight? Hm... Ah well, it can't be helped. You're a little too close to our border so..." she muttered before leaping at Waterstorm, yowling, and attempting to rake her claws deep into his shoulder.

Waterstorm leapt out of the way barely in time, and let out his battle cry, charging at the she-cat at full speed, then leaping, aiming to rake her pelt.

Mosspaw heard Waterstorms cry, then quickened his pace. "Waterstorm is in trouble, and I'll help him!" He was fast approaching the border.

Silverpelt also dodged and hissed before tackling the tom and slashing across his belly.

Waterstorm winced in pain, and kicked with his rear legs at Silverpelt, until he scented a Windclan cat coming. Mosspaw was going straight towards the battle, then smelled blood. He charged straight into the clearing and barreled into the larger cat, hitting her at full speed.

Silverpelt was bowled into the dust and she kicked Mosspaw into the ground before growling at both cats. "Now that's hardly fair, teaming up on a she-cat. Ah well. I can deal." she said before slashing at Mosspaw and kicking off of the apprentice's shoulder and tackling Waterstorm again, biting into his shoulder shoulder.

Waterstorm kicked the she-cat off, then turned to Mosspaw. Mosspaw had got up too, and he was in his offensive stance. "Mosspaw, do the trick I taught you, you remember it." Waterstorm told the apprentice. Mosspaw nodded, then ran around behind the she-cat, nodding again at Waterstorm. "NOW!" Waterstorm ordered, and both cats charged at the she-cat, but Waterstorm stopped in his tracks a fox length away, then Mosspaw dove at the she-cat's back left leg, sinking his teeth in hard. At the same moment, Waterstorm barreled toward the she-cat, not trying any battle technique.

Silverpelt yowled and did a small flip, attempting to send Mosspaw into Waterstorm.

Mosspaw jumped off of the she-cats leg before she flipped, then sank his teeth into her other rear leg. Waterstorm got up again, and stood by, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Silverpelt collapsed and she murmured, "Okay... I lose..." She crawled back over the ShadowClan border and stood, her hind legs bleeding madly. "I wish I could say this isn't over, but I'm not evil or cold like some of the other ShadowClan cats... So I freely give up..." she said.

"Do you need help back to your camp? Mosspaw bit you pretty hard, and I'm not the kind that would leave a cat to bleed to death after a well fought battle." Waterstorm asked, clearly caring too much for a cat of which he'd just battled.

Silverpelt shook her head. "No... I'll be fine... I'll pick up cobwebs on my way back... Thanks for the offer though." she said. She limped into the underbrush and disappeared.

"Well fought, Mosspaw. You showed great courage in this battle today, and I might have lost if you wouldn't have come along." Waterstorm complimented the young apprentice. Mosspaw let out a purr of joy, before Waterstorm added, "We'd better get back to camp and have our wounds checked out." The pair of cats walked back to camp, Waterstorm extremely happy with this cat.
