ESCAPING!!!

Wolfkit darted throught the forest, laghing as louddly as he dared. Though he had no clue where the training hollow lay, he was glad he had got out.

Foxkit raced after Wolfkit, her fur bristling with excitement. "Careful! I think the moonhigh patrol is still out!"she mewed, running as fast as her legs could carry her to catch up to Wolfkit.

"Oh right!" Wolfkit slowed down, allowing Foxkit to catch up. "You sure you can find the hollow in the dark?" He meowed a little anxiously. He liked the dark, yes but he didn't want to be lost in the forest.

"'Course I can!"she mewed confidently. "I've smelled it on the apprentices enough times!" She slowed her pace to a trot. "Now lets see..." She sniffed the air. "This way!" She took off, veering to the right.

Wolfkit darted after her, still a little unsure. The apprentices carried many scents and there wasn't just the scent of the hollow around. He still trusted Foxkit though. "Hey, where are the others?"

"No clue. They should be there!"she called back, stopping briefly to scent the air again. Foxkit grinned. "We're goin' the right way!"

"Yup I can smell it too!" Confident of where he was, Wolfkit spad ahead, sniffing and scenting his way to the hollow.

"Wait up! I can't run as fast as you!"Foxkit called, racing after him.

Wolfkit laughed, but slowed down. "Eh this is taking longer then I thought! Speed I can handle but I can't really work on stamina in camp!"

"Well, that's where I lack!"she said, still full of energy as she skipped past him.

Wolfkit growled and spad ahead again. Stamina was something you could improve. He planned on doing so.

"Hey!"Foxkit squeaked, running faster to try and catch up. He had already passed her! How slow was she?!

"Sorry!" Wolfkit called, slowing so that he was just a whisker infront of her.

Foxkit caught up easily but was still struggling to keep the pace. "You're taller!"she complained. "So you're faster!"

"I know!" Wolfkit purred. He looked ahead and slowed to a stop as he saw the training hollow. "Bout time. Seems like we've been running forever!"

Foxkit flew into the training hollow, unable to stop. She rammed into a bramble bush, only her haunches and tail sticking out. "H-hey! I'm stuck!"

Wolfkit burst into peals of laugher, unable to do anything exept roll around like a landed fish, gasping for air every now and then.
