Talkin' (Sparrowflight)

Waterstorm went outside and sat next to the Warrior's Den, waiting for Sparrowflight to come out after him. He shook the water droplets off his head, and watched the entrance for Sparrowflight.

Sparrowflight walked out of the den she almost forgot she was in Windclan but she only knew that she was with Waterstorm, that was all she really needed to know. She almost stumbled many times but she stepped out shook off some water even though she was a cat, she still loved the rain hitting her face, and now she wasn't alone, she didn't have to be.

"Hello, Sparrowflight." Waterstorm said, looking up to see where there was a thick tree. He had a thick pelt, yes, but it dried very slowly, in other words, he didn't like wet, it wasn't his thing. He touched his nose to Sparrowflight's, before walking to a taller rock, that he always sat on in the mornings. It was the first place to get any sun, for starters, and it was in more of a bowl shape, so no cat saw him. There was a crack in the rock and all of the melting water went straight down it, and out the side of the rock. He signaled her to follow him with his tail, and jumped into the rock, settling himself in his normal spot. He could see the whole camp from up here, everywhere from the leader's den to the nursery. It made him feel like leader standing up here, and he loved it.

Badgerclaw was just leaving the warrior den when he saw Waterstorm go for a rock in camp. He followed, his tail up high. "Hey." he greeted as he entered the rock with his clanmate. "This is awesome."

Sparrowflight was alarmed to see badgerclaw he must not have noticed Sparrowflight was there. "hello Badgerclaw." she said to him.

Badgerclaw turned around to see the pretty she-cat. "Hey." he mewed.

"how are you?" Sparrowflight tried to sound as normal as possible.

"Yes, hi Badgerclaw. This is a rather neat place up here, isn't it?" Waterstorm took another look over the camp, this spot probably had a better view than highbranch. He looked over at Sparrowflight, wishing that Badgerclaw wasn't here. He wanted to talk to the she-cat alone... but now Badgerclaw was here, he didn't know what to do.

"So Badgerclaw where have you been?" she said while she was wishing she could be alone with Waterstorm.

The sun broke through the branches of a tree, and Waterstorm stared straight up at the sky. "No time for that, look at this." He continued looking at the sky. It immediately flashed a barrage of colors, from purple in the west to brilliant orange in the east. "It makes my fur prickle no matter what." He thought to himself, the colors all changing from purple to red, to orange, and to blue again, only for the blue to be sucked up by the clouds. "This is the way to get up in the morning." He said, standing up and stretching on the rock. Waterstorm's muscles rippled under his pelt, warmed all the way to the heart by sharing the light with his friends now, not alone.

Sparrowflight then got a very good look at Waterstorm and how hansom he was. she had fallen in love very quickly but it was for sure, and she was almost sure that Waterstorm was in love to. Badgerclaw should know we want time alone she thought as she tried to demise a way to show Badgerclaw that without being rude.

Badgerclaw's jaw gaped. Then he realized why Waterstorm wanted Sparrowflight with him. "I'm sorry guys. You should've just told me to leave." he mewed, his eyes on his paws, though the sun was beautiful.

"thank you for understanding Badgerclaw." Sparrowflight said as she walked over to Waterstorm.

Badgerclaw dipped his head respectfully, a little envious he couldn't have a mate like Waterstorm did. "I just realized, it won't happen again." he left the rock without another word.

Sparrowflight sat next to Waterstorm. "this is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen!" Sparrowflight exclaimed quietly.

"Isn't it?" Waterstorm finally noticed what a great thing this was, all of the other clans saw the same sunrise, and somewhere, he knew that at least one other cat was enjoying the same sun with him.

Sparrowflight decided to be spontaneous "I'm glad I'm here to enjoy this sight with you." she said non-hesitantly

"I'm glad to see it with you, as well." Waterstorm said, letting out a loud purr and pressing against Sparrowflight. The last bit of colors faded from the sky and the sky turned bluer, today seemed like it would be nice, the sun was shining, and there were barely any clouds. "I hope that New-Leaf comes soon." He thought to himself, looking at the snow piled all around.

Sparrowflight noticed as well the sky was clear the day was amazing so she felt brave "Waterstorm?" she uttered "will you" she pressed harder against him "be my mate?" she said randomly.

"Of course I will." Waterstorm said, in a softer voice than before. Although he had just met this cat, maybe Starclan themselves had destined these two to be together, and for her to have survived out of the many cats in her clan. His head buzzed with questions, all demanding answers that he could never find.

Sparrowflight was over-joyed "that is great!" she exclaimed. so happy she wanted to jump out of her fur.

"I guess it really is." Waterstorm said, then it hit him what he had just said. If Sparrowflight weren't accepted in the clan, he would have to stick with her, even through exile. Although this was a great thing, he worried whether or not this was a good thing. He had just bonded himself with a cat who the leader may decline, then he'd have to leave his birth clan. He snapped out of thought, he wanted to stay with this cat for and with his life. He would die for her, as far as he was concerned. "Yes, it is great!" he decided, feeling a little light-headed. His fur prickled with excitement of the adventures to come with this cat.
