You idiots drive me insane....(Open)

Batpaw trotted into the den, his pelt sleek and shining. He'd waited all night at the ThunderClan border for Leafpaw for the fifth night in a row. Time to give up. Nothing's gonna happen. His thought was bitter and angry. Of course. StarClan had already taken his family. Now they took the only other cat that had meaning to him too?!

I should have known better. Of course. As soon as she learned how to swim she ditched me. She's probably thinking 'Hey, now that I know to swim I don't need him to haul me out of the river anymore! Oh, and now I can teach my whole Clan and they can raid RiverClan!' He mimicked her voice in his head but it still didn't make sense.

Would Leafpaw really do that? For a moment there, when he'd last seen her at the riverbank, she seemed like she actually liked him. Wanted to be close to him. Could he have been so foolish as to believe her? He shook his head. I don't know what to believe anymore.

He couldn't hide the aching loneliness he felt inside of him. The sadness that echoed through his whole body. Maybe he was angry because he hadn't felt this way since his sisters died.

Tigerpaw looked up from her nest. Her eyes were droopy as she had been on dawn patrol, "Where you been?" She mewed yawning and sitting up grooming moss from her pelt.

Batpaw bristled. "None of your business," he growled, looking away.

"Okay just asking!" Tigerpaw replied slightly taken a back but now fully awake.
"Wanna go hunting?" She mewed flicking a small bit of dry dirt from her nest.

"No." He cast a sideways glare at his Clanmate. "Don't you have something better to do than bug me?"

"Well I am sorry to intrude but i was just asking." Tigerpaw mewed.

Batpaw flicked his ear but said nothing, his annoyance and exhaustion showing in his eyes. He padded over to his nest and yawned widely before putting his head on his paws and trying to go to sleep.

"Want me to get you something to eat?" Tigerpaw asked softly. Despite his rudeness she did kinda like this tom. He was so rebelious. Or maybe she just wanted to know what he was up to.

"No thanks." he said gruffly, looking away.

"Hey guys." Ebonypaw yawned her way to her cold and damp nest hoping to warm it up soon. She had been so tired latley with all her nightly visits to WindClan to see Birchpaw. "How's life?" she asked, she wondered how her clan-mates were doing, she hadn't been able to talk to most latley.

Rainpaw was curled in her nest, tired from teaching Runningkit to fish and bringing Claykit back to camp. She rose her head drowsily, "Can you guys talk a little quieter so I can get some rest?" she asked kindly, her fiery spirit lost in tiredness.

"Fine."Batpaw snapped, shaking out his coat. "I can't sleep with all this racket anyway! I'm going out to the river." He pulled himself up from the nest to start padding out of the den.

"Wait, Batpaw! Are you okay!? If you want ... I would love a swim." she meowed, hoping to see Birchpaw somewhere near there, she would just have to get Batpaw away, but he looked so sad, like his heart was tugging on him.

Batpaw paused, looking uncertain. "Come if you want,"he said flatly, leaving the den.

Rainpaw would've felt guilty for being so rude, putting her own needs before others, but she was too tired to notice. She fell right back asleep, taking a morning doze. Soon, she'd be her bold, short-tempered, and fiery spirited self again. Then all her senses and conscious would fill back into her.

"I'll come too if it is ok?" Tigerpaw mewed.
