Shad D=

Thistlefur wandered over to the Shadowclan border, looking longingly over to the Gathering place. His heart ached to be with Barkfur (DX) but his head told him to stay with his clan. What should he do, knowing he loved both? How couyld he remain loyal to just one? He gave a heart-broken yowl and fell to the floor, a confused mess.

Barkfur had heard the call, she was in the gathering place on the tree. She climbed down and stalked over to where she heard the call, her eyes narrowed. She wanted to make sure it wasn't a hurt kit or warrior.
She peered beyond a bush still green with it's pines. There, she spotted a ShadowClan tom. She looked harder, it wasn't just any ShadowClan tom. There, on the ground lay Thistlefur. She shot out from behind the bush and skidded to a halt beside her mate, her paws a little grazed by the sudden stop. "Thistlefur, are you okay?" she asked, laying beside him.
She looked extremely fat, though in truth she hadn't eaten in two days. Her belly was swollen with her kits, she was due any day now and she didn't want to go into the nursery.

Thistlefur blinked. He knew that voice. "Barkfur?" His voice was a horse whisper. "Is it really you?"

Barkfur smiled, "Open your eyes. Of course it's me." she mewed softly, muzzling him gently.

Thistlefur looked up at the Thunderclan she-cat, purring. "How are you?"

Barkfur purred back. "Fine, fine. But you don't look to good." her face grew stern with concern, then with deep worry. "What is troubling you?"

"Nothing. .. ust confusion." thustlefur sighed.

Barkfur looked down at her paws, "I know what you mean. I can feel it too." she sadly mewed, almost a whisper. "With my time so near, this really splits my loyalty. I'm not sure what to do anymore."
