Out, out and away!

Wolfkit ran ahead, scenting the winter air, feeling the air rushing around him. He gave a cry of sheer happiness, and stopped suddenly, seeing a tiny mouse scurring past. Knowing how scarse prey was, Wolfkit followed it, intent on catching thr rodent.

Foxkit practically flew after her friend, her paws barely touching ground. She was running as fast as she could. You know. To train! Then she hit a down-hill slope. "Oh no!"she meowed, flying into a briar bush.

Wolfkit fell into a crouch, not quite perfect but not terrible, nd stalked the mouse. He had seen the apprentices doing it often and it didn't seem that hard...He pounced, managing to catch the mouch by it's tail, but it turned and bit his paw. Falling back, Wolfkit gave a small whimper and examined the damage.

Kestrelkit ran after Foxkit, but instead of falling down the hill he stopped. He looked down into the briar bush. "You okay, Foxkit?" He yelled down. She didn't... break a paw or something, did she? "Don't scare away the prey!" He yelled down to. He laughed to himself before lookign in the direction Wolfkit went. Silly kit.

"I'm fine!"Foxkit squeaked, rushing out of the bramble bush.

Wolfkit gave an angry grunt, hearing Kestrelkit's laugh. I'll show him... He looked around, catching sight of the fleeing mouse and giving chase, quickly disapearing in amonst the undergrowth. He didn't notice that he was going into yet-to-be-explored territory, nor that he was lost. All that mattered was catching the mouse.

Kestrelkit looked back at Faxkit and jumped towards her, aiming to knock her back into the bramble bush. He laughed as he did it. "On second though, I think I want you to teach me those moves!"

"Hey!"Foxkit said, squirming underneath the other it. "How am I supposed to do that when you always pounce on me?"

"Are you going to ask a warrior how you'e supposed to fight if she keeps attacking you?" Kestrelkit battered at Foxkit's head, trying to tempt her. "Come on! Teach me something!" He was going to pester her if she didn't. "I need something to use on you if I don't see that badger."

Foxkit battered at his belly with her hind paws and cuffed is ears with her front paws. "Like this?"
