Thistle goes hunting~

Thistleclaw looked up at the bleak grey sky and sighed. He was lonely, he was bored. He had absolutely nothing to do. At times like this, he usually went hunting, but that was a little difficult seeing as there was barely anything to hunt. He scented the air and thought he caught a whiff of a mouse, but he couldn't be sure. Prowling silently through the damp grass, mud starting to seep through his claws, he neared the scent. Now that he was closer, he could tell it wasn't a mouse, but what was it? He stood up straight and looked around, but saw nothing. I could have sworn that I scented something... he thought, confusion sparking in his green eyes.

Driftpaw padded lazily out into the woods, totally bored. "Oy. Why can't my mentor take me out and train? Jeez." he said, yawning. Oh yeah. Because he always beat his mentor in battle-training, and always caught the most prey when they competed in hunting contests. That stupid cat shouldn't be called a mentor. Cloudfrost could do better than that flea-bitten mouse-brain!

Thistleclaw pricked his ear and spun around. There, he'd heard it for sure this time! Pinning himself low to the ground, he snuck quietly, weaving in and out of the trees. This is actually... pretty fun! He mused. A twig snapped, and he darted behind a tree trunk. Peering out from behind it, he spotted a ShadowClan apprentice, Driftpaw. He flushed from nose to tail tip, silently thanking StarClan for his dark, thick pelt. "Er, hey, Driftpaw." He said, smiling crookedly.

Driftpaw turned, his fur bristling. He expected and hoped for a trespasser, so he could give them some wounds to cry to their mothers to. But instead it was Thistleclaw. Of course it was. "Hey," he growled, turning and starting to stalk away.

OOC: *throws Tansy into Drift*

Tansypaw ran into the territory. He was on orders to get something for his mentor. It was some type of test or something. See how fast and how much moss you can get before I put the stick outside the entrance. That was going to be about an hour from now. He thought it would be easy. As he ran he spotted Driftpaw and then Thistleclaw.

He stopped in his tracks and looked at the both of them. "Can you guys help me out?" He asked with a titl of his head.

Thistleclaw started to step towards Driftpaw when he heard another cat asking for help. He turned towards the newcomer. "Sure, what for?"

Driftpaw turned slightly, his eyes bored. Meh. He didn't really want to help the new apprentice... But it would give him something to do. Myeah. He turned again and walked away. Tansykit-paw-thing or whatever his name was would probably drive him insane. Why bother?

Tansypaw glared at Driftpaw and his utter rudeness. What was stuck in his fur? He looked over at Thistleclaw, he seemed more willing. "I have a test assigned from my mentor and I need you to help me with it. Want to?"

Thistleclaw grinned, ignoring the arrogant apprentice. "Sounds great! What is it?" Finally, something to do! He looked at Tansypaw with a questioning look in his eyes.
