Help!

Fernlight crept up on an unsuspecting mouse. She was hungry. She opened her mouth slightly, letting the delicious smell of prey seep in. Wait. What was that? It happened again. Was the moon shaking? No. It was the ground! What's going on?!

The shaking intensified. Fernlight couldn't take it, she had never experienced anything like this before. Was it the end? Had Nightclan taken over? She huddled up to a nearby rock and closed her eyes tight. Just then the ground crumbled away under her, giving way to a small hole under a rock ledge. She couldn't get out.

"HELLP!"

A pale pelt drifted through the trees. Almost like a ghost, he was silent and graceful. That is, until the earth began to move. What in StarClan's name? Driftpaw glared at the ground. He'd never heard of the ground moving before. No... It wasn't moving. It was... Shaking. In the next instant he found himself slipping to the ground, unable to stand. "HELP!"

The cry surprised him. Probably Tansypaw... That idiot probably fell out of a tree! He, however, raced over, thinking this a chance to show off his skills as a warrior. He fell a few times, the muddy earth slipping and sliding ever which way, before reached the crack in the earth.

Fernlight screamed as loudly as she could (which was pretty loud), surely someone would hear her. She paused. Someone's here. She couldn't tell who, but she didn't care. "I'm down here!" She mewed weakly. The back of her head hurt. A lot. She felt herself getting sleepy...

Driftpaw instantly recognized Fernlight's voice. "Fernlight!" he growled, sticking his head into the hole. He saw her curled at the bottom, her eyes drooping. "Don't fall asleep!" he hissed, reachged down with his paw to try and grab her.

Fernlight lifted her head up slightly, the fog in her head clearing. "Driftpaw! Help me get out of here!" She wasn't exactly sure how he could do that.

OOC: SHORT.

Bearpaw had tripped over his own feet and crashed to the ground. Right after the earth started to shake! Did he just do that?! No, it was still going on! He scrambled to his paws and heard really loud yells. He followed the sound to find a chasm and heard about three of his clanmates. He yowled, "What in the name of StarClan?!"

The earth had stopped shaking, thank goodness! Fernlight thought.

Her thoughts drifted back to the present, "Driftpaw, get me out of here!" She yelled loudly. "I can't stay here all nigh-"

"Whump!" The large rock above the hole that she was in collapsed, killing poor Fernlight beneath.

Driftpaw's eyes widened as his Clanmate was killed. Then he shrugged. Oh well. He hadn't liked her much anyways.
