Acidental stealing

OOC: I felt a need to make SC more... Shadowclanny-like, cuz in the books they is WAAAAY more ebil. Also, I need to make this ugly-face active again.

Woodclaw bounded through the forest, scenting the air. He grinned as the smell of squirrel hit his nostrils. He turned and began to run, his paws hitting the ground exeedingly lightly, despite his large build. He saw a flash of grey and grinned to himself, slowing slightly. He watched the squirrel fall on a nut, devouring it hungrily. He lept at it, catching it between his claws, but not killing it. Then he noticed something that made him nearly let it go. He had crossed the scent markers. He was in Windclan.

A hiss sounded from behind Woodclaw.
The medium furred tom carried his head high with his fangs bared. "Tresspasser." he growled while crouching somewhat in a fighting stand, ready to leap at the ShadowClan thief.
Badgerclaw was just strolling around the borders, enjoying the rain drenched sights of his territory. And of course, just his luck, he runs into some dumb ShadowClan warrior with the brain small enough to try and steal from WindClan. Wonderful.

Woodclaw bore his fangs, turned his eyes to look at the Windclan warrior. "Like I would want to hunt in this place? I can get scrawny bunnies at home! The only thing its good for is for finding morons like you."

Badgerclaw kept his pale green eyes on Woodclaw as he answered, "I'd watch what you say, your own my territory now." he moved a paw forward, gesturing a threat. "Put the squirrel down." he growled.

"This is a Shadowclan squirrel. I know because it doesn't have the same stench as you." Woodclaw growled, taking no heed of the cat's wranings. The new warrior wasn't about to be intimidated by this puff-ball. "I swear, if you take another step my nose will fall off."

Badgerclaw hissed, standing tall with his eyes narrowed and muscles tensed. "I swear if I have to take one more step, I'll make sure your tail falls off." he growled at the new warrior.
He might be young, but Badgerclaw knew he had experience. He had the advantage.

"If your tail was taken off it would make ya look better." Woodclaw sneered. "In fact, who don't you let a fox remodel your face? I'm sure it could do a better job than what ti is now." He felt the squirrel inbetween his claw's running around frantically, hear its heart beating, smell its fear.

Badgerclaw grinned, "Of course. That's all you got. That's all any ShadowClan warrior can throw at any cat. Insults." He stood tall and proud, stepping heavily closer to Woodclaw, "Just put it down and I'll let you get back to your Clan in one piece." hsi eyes burned furiously with anger.

"Heh. I should be affraid of you? Then again your face is terrifing enough." Woodclaw's amber eyes glinted. "Running is all you Windclan cats can do. Your known to be cowrads and weaklings."

Badgerclaw chuckled, "Too bad I wasn't born in WindClan." he released his claws into the ground and his fur went on end. "This is my last warning, release the prey or you'll wish you were never born." he growled.

Woodclaw looked at Badgerclaw. It was true. Fireclan. "You where born during the time of Flamestar, meaning your worse than Windclan. He was a idiot whom drove his clan to the ground. The fact that you are now in Windclan shows you have no loyalty or honour. You won't even go back to Fireclan now that Littlestar has made it bloom again. Your a coward."

Badgerclaw stared at the warrior sternly, "I've had enough of these empty insults."
Instantly the badger marked tom leaped into the rain filled air, right at Woodclaw.

Woodclaw, having been expecting the warrior to be taunted into attacking first, slid away quickly, and aimed a heavy slash at the warrior. "That was no insult. That was a fact."

Badgerclaw landed neatly on his paws, swiveling on an angle so that he was facing the ShadowClan cat again, "And I suppose your any better then?" he questioned, keeping his mind clear of any anger that Woodclaw might cause.

"I've lived in Shadowclan all my life, have betrayed no one. That is the opposite of you." Woodclaw growled. "I hope to serve my clan well, and if your too idiotic to realize I crossed the border by acident, then I'm not going to run or fight." He eyes the squirrel that had scarmered up the tree. "Oh now see you've made me lose prey!"

Badgerclaw's eyes didn't gleam with anger and disgust anymore, but he didn't let his guard down. "Every warrior knows that if prey crosses into another border, it becomes that Clan's fresh-kill. It is in the Warrior code." he stood tall. "But if you crossed accidently, then all you had to do was say." he replied, "Go, no harm has been done."

"The Warrior Code is stupid sometimes." Woodclaw growled, walking tensly towards the border. "And as a responce to the statement you made before, I already wish I hadn't been born."

Badgerclaw tried to ignore the last comment, but he couldn't get it away from him. "May StarClan guide your path." he meowed, almost a sigh.
