Talk [OPEN]

Shadowstar padded confidently towards the border, his tail swaying luxeriously. His unconserned appearance hid the important topic he had to discuss urgently with Smoketail, the Windclan deputy. He could feel the scent of the Windclan scent markers, tickle his nose. Beside him padded his mate Flarestorm, and his best friend, and deputy, Nightjaw.

Shadowstar approached the border, he stopped and his tail lay still and dropped, just hovering above the ground. Ahead, lay the moors, and the spiky grass. Shadowstar looked longingly back at the moist ground. "Man, Windclan cats must have pads of stone." He mumbled quietly. He sat down, "We'll wait for a patrol, judging by the sun," He mewed looking up into the sky, "One should come by soon."

Pantherfin looked upon the horizon, his eyes scrunching up as he noticed a few moving objects, prey? No, too big. He lifted his long muzzle up in the air a gulped a few RiverClan scents. What were they doing here? Stealing prey? Didn't they have enough over there, why, they were the best fed Clan in the forest right now. The orange tabby rushed over, forgetting the rabbit he had his nose on. He creeped up, noticing whom the cats were. Shadowclaw, Nightjaw, and Flarestorm. They were just sitting there, not looking for a piece of prey. Maybe they actually wanted something ... but what?

Pantherfin padded over, his mind wondering what was going on. He approached them, his paws almost stomping along the wet moor. "What are you doing on WindClan's territory?" he growled, his long legs shifting back and forth as he waited for a reply. "You have no business being over here." he added.

"We aren't here to hunt," Shadowstar mewed calmly. "You shouldn't use that tone with a leader, what happened to manners?" Shadowstar glared betraying no anger in is eyes.

"Anyway, we are here to talk to Smoketail, its about the announcement the Silverstar made just at the last gathering." He mewed,

Foxtalon, the unecessarily large tom who looked brootish in one glance, seemed to come up just behind Patherfin. He'd been hunting with him and didn't notice he'd run over here, but he saw him eventually. The brown tom scoffed at Shadowstar.

"We don't need to keep in check for a cat in another clan," he nearly hissed. Apparently they were there to talk to smoketail, but when was a leader not? When they were planning some raid or something. But... this didn't seem like it with one glance, but, this was a RiverClan. They could be hiding out with some fish in the river not too far away from here.

"Fine then, if you need to speak with him, stand so you can come." Foxtalon flicked his tail, signalling Pantherfin to get in a spot between two cats so they could seperate them from one another.

Flarestorm bristled at the WindClan cat's hostile tones. But then... Her eyes raked over the two tom's pelts. They were ragged and thin, showing almost every single one of their ribs. They had a right to be hostile, no? They looked so much different from the RiverClan warriors, whose pelts were sleek and thick, hiding their skinny statures. She made no objection as they separated the patrol from RiverClan.

The tabby tom rolled his eyes at Shadowstar, that cat was so full of himself, and quite annoying. "Maybe you should mind yours as well, coming here unannounced isn't exactly sweet." he growled, then turned to Foxtalon. Pantherfin did what Foxtalon had motioned him to do, then He noticed Flarestorm bristling and gazing at their boney figures. Well, Foxtalon was still bigger than all of them, but he still showed some bone. Those RiverClan cats barely even need to leave, they were fat and they had pelt of silk.

OOC: How does Fox know that we are here to talk about the journey?

Shadowstar sighed with irritation. Sure these Windclan cats were hungry, but they were being very hostile. He had stated clearly that they were here to talk, not to raid or steal prey. "Can you take us to your camp now please?" Shadowstar mewed patiently.

A golden and black spotted she-cat seemed to materilize out of nowhere as she stepped from a tan patch of foliage. Mintleaf looked at the RiverClan cats briefly before turning to her own Clanmates. She told them, "Let them come, we have nothing to fear from RiverClan or any other Clan for that matter." She knew Shadowstar wanted to talk to Smoketail for something because she had heard that much, but she didn't know what. What would the RiverClan leader want with the WindClan deputy? A thought hit hurt and she internally froze. It's not about them is it? She focused back to the gathered cats and simply asked, "Agreed?"

ooc: RC would want to talk with them because there was just an earthquake and they are leaving the forest soon. Shilly you. xD

Flarestorm dipped her head to Mintleaf. "Thank you." she said curtly. "Like Shadowstar stated. We are here simply to talk to Smoketail."

"Thank you Flarestorm," Shadowstars impatient stare soffened as he glanced thankfully at his mate. He rose to his paws, ready to be escorted to the Windclan camp.

Nightjaw looked at Pantherfin closely, ignoring the body of the cat, and looking at his eyes. There was something in them... He shrugged it off and followed Shadowstar.

OOC: Yer, and... like, ever heard of clan gossip? XD

Foxtalon positioned himself in between the cat, sitting between Shadowstar and his mate while Pantherfin went in between the other too. He pricked his ears when Mintleaf came, telling them to bring them to the clan. He didn't actually feel like telling her that's what they were doing, so he just kept his silence and started to walk with the cats.

He felt a little crowded. Like too many cats were there. And knowing WindClan and their ability to hide in the tall grass, more would come just from seeing them.

Shadowstar pulled back, away from Foxtalon. He then padded in between him and his mate, portecively glaring at the tom.

Pantherfin growled, "Like we're going to do anything to your mate." he growled, his patients going thinner and thinner. "Go back in place." he said this time with less anger, "When your on WindClan territory you must follow our rules."

ooc: He's getting kinda pissed XD

"Pantherfin!" Mintleaf snapped. She was getting slightly annoyed with her Clanmate. You really didn't want to get her angry at you. She aimed to kill Mosspaw last time he did that, and he was just joking with her. She postioned herself at the front of the patrol and sighed, checking her mood swings, "Let's just take them there." She lowered her voice to a whisper and hissed, "The sooner they're gone, the better."

Pantherfin mumbled his agreement and fell to the back of the pack. Lately, the lack of food had made him more and more anger, it had taken a toll on all of them. "Sorry." He murmured so low that he could barely hear it. The only thing you could hear was his stomach rumbling. "We should have continued our hunting trip." he sighed, knowing that the Queens, Kits, and Elders would be even more weak than he was. Pantherfin could remember the last time he had eaten that day, or did he even eat this morning?

Shadowstar let the Windclan cats be. Despite being a leader, he was on their territory and like any other cat should be treated. He proceeded to get to his paws. Ready to be lead to Windclan cat and further more to Smoketail.
