Leopardstrike Demands Truth! (OPEN)

Leopardstrike leaped up the stone step towards Silverstar's den. Things were getting out of hand. Cats were drowning, the Medicine Den was full to the point of almost bursting. He didn't no how much longer ThunderClan would last if they stayed in this place. The only answer was to run, even though it was cowardly. Silverstar was basically doing nothing, just standing around and staying in this StarClan forsaken land. Besides, Leopardstrike personally disliked the way things were going. He was the only one remotely well-fed. Mostly it was the way he had eaten on the journey to the new land and back, but people were getting the wrong idea. They thought he was stealing prey or something.

Silverstar kneeled in her den, clear blue eyes focused on nothing in particular. She couldn't be sure that leaving was the idea. She could never be sure of anything really. Cats were dead, cats were injured. Aquapaw's leg was crushed, possibly never to heal again. She knew some of the cats blamed her for waiting, some blamed her for leaving. Frankly, she had started not to care. A moth fluttered into her den, it's beige and black wings beating as it caught the currents. Something infuriated Silverstar for no real reason. It's ability to fly free perhaps? She followed it thoughtfully until it fled from her den, passing Leopardstrike on the way out. The tom looked frustrated. Possibly with her. He still had meat on his bones, he didn't understand how hard the journey would be for the half-starved ThunderClan cats. "What is it Leopardstrike?" she mewed tersely.

"We-... I'm tired of waiting." he managed to announce, with abnormal anger in his voice. But in this predicament he deserved to be angry. He looked down at his aunt. She looked horrible. Worse than horrible, she looked as if she had just given up. He'd hate to kick her while she was down, but there really was no time to waste anymore. "Silverstar we have to leave! Frostheart is dead, he drowned in the river. Who knows how many other cats were going to lose if we stay here. Things are going to get a lot worse."

Leopardstrike was angry with her as she suspected. He figured it was her fault that they hadn't left. When she heard his news, her deputy was dead, she jumped to her feet, eyes blazing and posture stiff as a board. She wasn't filled with a dull pain, nor sadness, just cold determination and bitter anger. Frostheart was a great deputy and was a valued warrior but had lately been mildly not there. And his British accent angered her. "Do you not understand how difficult this will be? Is? It took me ages to decide to tell the other clans. At this Gathering I told the clans that we will leave in a quarter-moon, no sooner." Steel.
