Sunflower and Leopardpaw (carried over from battle)

"Well, I don't know the best poultice for an infected eye, but I'll put marigold on it for now, its gonna sting. Where is nightleaf?" She chewed up more marigold and began licking it into his eye.

Sunflower closed her eyes and breathed in the cool evening air. Her ears pricked as Silvercloud padded into the underbrush. Sunflower sighed and she was sore and tired again. Sunflower looked up at her attacker with terror glazed in her eyes. Her kits were squealing loudly, and somehow Lillykit was still sleeping next to Leopardpaw. She began to feel lightheaded as blood oozed from her neck and saturated the cobwebs Moonpaw had found.

Aspenleaf's fur slowly lay flat as he saw the cat raise her head. Her eyes were frightened and the sound of mewling filled the clearing. His eyes shifted to three tiny squirming bundles up against her chest. It's a Queen! With kits! he thought, slightly ashamed. Sheathing his claws, he kept silent. He watched, frightened as the queen began to shake.[/size]

Silvercloud hissed as a cat pounced on Sunflower, leaving deep gashes on her back and side. With a quick motion she swiped at him, being sure to let him feel what it is like to be injured. "You monster!" She spat at him harshly. Sunflower was beginning to shake and breath with much more shortness. She glared at the cat before he released grip and backed away from the queen. Her fur bristled as she stared at the kittens. They seemed alright, Sunflower did not.

"Sunflower!! NO!" She screeched, not feeling the other cat's claws rake against her skin. She didn't care. This was her friend! "I won't let you die ..." She managed to slip in before Sunflower hit unconsciousness. Rage exploded from Silvercloud; very rarely angry was she. Adrenaline pumped through her veins while she spun around at the cat that had done this to her. Her hisses carried over the kits mewing while her eyes narrowed. She stalked him like she was stalking prey and, if he was not bigger than she, she would have hunted him like prey also. In a blink of an eye she had pounced, latching herself onto his back. Her claws ripped through his fur. "What kind of cat are you?!" Before he had time to react she was already off his back, on the ground beside him. She twitched with fury as her claws met skin.

OCC: What is happening?

Ooc: Aspenleaf attacked Sunflower, your still terrible injured, and I think your still asleep. i dont know though.

OCC: Thankyou becuase I got not be botherd to read all 8-9 pages of the battel!

Lillykit woke up "whats going on?" Lillykit wined.

Silvercloud only flicked her ears at Moonpaw, not bothering to look at her. "And then what? Let this peice of crowfood rip apart Sunflower? No!" Her voice was tinged with absolute venom ... but maybe- a slight bit of pain. Realizing Sunflower was only getting worst she shot a glare at the rogue; keeping her claws unsheathed. She walked cautiously towards the nearest cobweb and wove her paw around it, collecting as much as possible. Silvercloud hurried back to Sunflower and grunted. "Here." As Lillykit awoke the she-cat backed towards her, in a protective stance. "Don't worry little one. Just relax; everything will be alright."

"I want to help" Lillkit got up and flicked her tail.

"No. We can't risk you getting hurt any more than you already are." She murmured softly to the young kit. "Stay with Moonpaw little one." Silvercloud quietly got up and, watching the rougue's every move, made her way across the clearing to where a bundle of Juniper berries grew. Plucking them delicately with her teeth she sorted for the plump ones. After sorted she stalked back to Sunflower, dropping them by Moonpaw's feet.

Silvercloud nodded her head begrudgingly and repeated the process of glaring at the rogue, moving slowly across the clearing, and wrapping her paw around a small bit of cobsweb. Barely enough to stop bleeding. The she-cat searched the clearing for anymore and, finding a large bundle of the web, twirled it on her paw before bounding back to Moonpaw, dropping it in front of her and watching intensely.

Moonpaw nodded, and began taking the soiled cobwebs off and putting fresh ones on. She got up and turned to the rogue. "What was that for? If my friend dies it's all your fault. What's worse her kits will die too!"She knew she was a medicine cat, but she couldn't hold her anger in anymore. Unsheathing her claws she scored gashes on the rogues face. "I can't beleive you!" she screeched.

Silvercloud rolled her eyes. Just a minute ago Moonpaw was telling her not to fight. What was up with that? The she-cat's tail rested on the Medicine cat's shoulder. "Calm." She murmured soothingly. "Sunflower needs you right now." She motioned to the queen lying on her side, kits beside her.

Silvercloud's attention was turned to Sunflower's. A soft murmur had escaped her fragile frame. The she-cats eyes filled with relief as she opened her eyes. Her body was still ghastly and blood still flowed from her wounds, but she was alive. Silvercloud hurried over to the queen and mewed very softly. "Shh. Save your strength. Your kits will need you. Lillykit is fine." With that, her silver tail swept over Sunflower's tail smoothly.

Silvercloud gave an understanding nod before turning around and baring her teeth at the rogue. "Don't move." She hissed menacingly with a flick of her tail. She was quite sure she could out-run him if needed but, not watning to take any chances, started circling him.
