"What?" Treepaw said in a cold and irritated voice. He went back to grooming himself while he waited for the cats answer. Why do they always come while I'm taking a break?

"I... I got a thorn stuck in my paw," the injured warrior replied. She lifted
it up for him to see. It was stuck, dead in the middle like a lone tree
in a forest.

"Of course you did," he replied with an irritated
twitch of his tail. He padded towards the cat and made a quick
inspection of her paw. Gently he grabbed hold of it and pulled it out
swiftly and easily. Some blood welled up from the now open hole.

"New time watch where you step," Treepaw said, spitting out the thorn.

Featherkit watched as her brothers and sisters started to play "defend camp", I would never wanna play that, its to ruff for me.

"Featherkit, don't you wanna play with us?" Asked Maplekit.

"No thanks, I'd rather sit here in the warm sun." Featherkit replied, without waiting for an answer she tummble past the nursery towards the Medicine cat den. It always smelled so good in there!
I would love to help my Clan mates out by helping them get better from a cold rather than go hunting.
Then it hit her,she was destined to be a medicine cat.

Featherkit laughed with delight as she played with the other kits. They were right outside the nursery, being carefully watched over by one of the queens. They tossed around a clump of moss, which was originally a piece of fresh-kill before one of the senior warriors took it away. She watched as her litter mates tossed it towards each other and then to one of the other kits. Featherkit stood there, waiting, ready for her turn. Soon enough she could see the piece flying towards her Grinning, she braced herself to catch it when, suddenly it was snatched out of the air by a brown pelted hit.

"Got it!" he said with the moss clenched between his teeth.
"Hey! That was mine!" Featherkit squealed in anger.
"Then take it from me." he crouched holding his back end up and his tail held high.

Featherkit jumped at the kit who ran from the way, laughing as he did. She skidded on the ground before standing up again and shaking herself. Once again the kit was in the same stance, mocking her with his teasing eyes. Again, she jumped at him, just so he could easily hop away. She skidded to a stop again before standing up and shaking herself.

"You won't catch me that way!"

His muffled mock rung in her ears. No, she couldn't keep doing that. She had to try something else. She looked over him, thinking about how he would move to the side, dodging her easy.

"What's taking so long!" The kit yelled again.

You'll see, she thought before jumping at him. Again he jumped from the way, but Featherkit was ready for it. She landed on her paws, stumbling a little before regain her balance and making an immediate jump at the kit. He hadn't expected this... not at all.

When she felt her paws come in contact with him she became excited. He had taken her catch. It was hers and only hers until she decided to give it up, and he took it right from under her! He couldn't do that! No one could!

"Ouch! Hey!" The kit yelled. Featherkit was brought back to her senses. She was one top of the kit with her claws digging into his side. "Stop it!" he wailed. She looked down at him and pulled her ears back. She snatched the moss from his jaws at got from on top of him.

"Don't do it again," she growled.


..... I think I overdid it... Actually, I think I made her a warrior by accident. *hits self* Stupid.
