Spreading the news.

Dawnfur padded into the nursery and looked around. It smelt of kits and milk. And of fat mice. She went over to one of the queens and sat down waiting for the queen to egnolledge her. Dawnfur had some questions she needed to ask.

Sandface looked up from watching her kits snuggle into her belly and go to sleep. They may be old enough to walk around, see, and talk a little but they still needed their milk. But lately, they haven't been eating as much. "Hi Dawnfur."

"Hello!" Dawnfur mewed to Sandface. Dawnfurs kit stumbled over her tail. Dawnfur pulled her back towards her stomach. "What do you think? Blazekit or Flamekit?" Dawnfur said looking at Moonecho again.

"I think you should name him blaze kit. His fur looks like an orange blaze, making early blue morning sky look a white color. It's important that you shoould name it on what you and your mate think you should name, go with you heart."

ooc: short!

"That is it! Blazeheart! That would be a nice warrior name. It is purfect! Blazekit shall be after I talk to Ravenfeather."

"Your welcome. I will come back in a second, I must check with Nightleaf for a moment." she walked out of the nursery and went into the medicine den.

ooc: you can come talk with her while she is in the medicine den if you'd like

Dawnfur lay down in her nest again. 'what to do, what to do?' she thought to herself.

Skykit, who didn't want to disturbe her still sleeping sister got up and streched. "Hi!" She mewed to Dawnfur. "I'm skykit!" the mottled blue she-cat boasted.

"Hello, young Skykit. How old are you?" Dawnfur said looking down at her own kit.

"I am two weeks and five sunrises!" Skykit had been keeping track of every minute that passed. She couldn't wait until she was old enough to become an apprentice. Then she would become a warrior, then maybe deputy, and even clan leader!

"Wow! Do you know how old my kit is?" Dawnfur asked to test his knowledge.

Bic: "Hmm..... Not quite two weeks, I'm going to guess about a week and a half?" she mewed hoping that she was right.

"No!!" Dawnfur joked. "She is only two days old! But good try!"

Ooc: I didn't know, I wasn't paying attention these past two days lol.

"Oh, well I haven't seen him, otherwise I may have done better," she told hiding her embarressment. To tell the truth she probably wouldn't have done better if she did. She just wanted something to blame her wrong answer on. "Whats his name?"

"Her name is probally going to be Blazekit. Wanna see her?" She purred as she carefully took her tail off her kits body.

"She's beautiful! She looks like they bright beautiful flames of a non-deadly fire!" she mewed excitdely, forgetting to keep quiet so her sister owuldn't hear her. She knew she had very good hearing. "huh, wha?" she head her mumble before watching her head lay back down.

Blazekit squirmed at the sound of Skykits voice. Then she let out a small wail.

"relaxe little kit, well I'm a little kit so littler kit. Everythings fine." Skykit gently laid her tail on the tiny kits flank

Blazekit instantly stopped wailing and started purring. "You would be a good mother wouldn't you? Do like kits?" Dawnfur asked.

"I love them dearly, even though i am one. I don't know how to be a mother, though."
