THIRD GATHERING

((LOL,somebody get Wolfeh.))

Ed grinned "Yes you doo~~" he sang, sitting and waving his forepaws near his head with a stupid smile on his face.

Pendragon woke with a start. With none of the clans really paying
attention to the main focus of the gathering, she has seen no reason to
stay awake. She lazily looked around and laid her head back on her paws.

Ed looked behind him, hearing a loud cracking sound. Flint, the Alpha,
had knocked FlameStar out of the tree!! "Flint! What are you doing?!"
Ed yelled, straining his voice so it wouldn't get lost in the sea of
other wolves' and cats' voices. "What the hell is going on?!" he
growled to his brother, getting up.

ShadowStar replied smoothly, "That cat is a traitor, and has no place in my clan anymore." she sat silently, watching with trained and narrowed eyes the scene played out before her. Noticing ShadowClaw pad up to the tree, she nodded a hello to him and twisted her tail around her paws. This was boring. The sooner the gathering was over, the sooner she and her clan could get back home. ShadowStar looked up, gulping at the fiercely dark clouds that hung menacingly in the sky. Luckily, only a tiny wisp of stormcloud had touched the frail globe of the moon, and she sighed heavily. What happened to the truce at Gathering times? Nightpaw had barged in, Flint had felled FlameStar, and now FlameStar and Nightpaw (he was still just an apprentice level cat to her) were at it up a random tree.

"Shadowstar, I have just realised I have no idea what to do! What do I do at a gathering?"

Sunflower shifted her paws nervously. "I just want to go home..." her paws wer itching for tomorrow to come, even though Blazeheart was still in the same clearing. She looked up at the moon. Moonhigh had long passed. It was still dark, but the tiniest line of pale blue and pink shown on the horizon.
"We can work all this out at the next Gathering," she meowed, loud enough for at least some cats to hear.

"That is all DarkClan has to say, Silverstar you may begin." he mewed licking his fur to keep it down, and to settle himself, so that he wouldn't end up slicing Flamestar in half.

OOC: SHORT KEEP THE GATHERING GOING

Flint narrowed his eyes at the sea of cats and wolves. "Flamestar has no more need in this world. Starclan personnally told me what to do." He growled, taking his position back on the top of the tree.

Autumn murmured nervously. StarClan had told Flint themselves to kill Flamestar? She felt Mud shift nervously beside her. She licked his ear to comfort him. This is no way for his first Gathering to start,she thought worriedly. He's still scarred from losing Father.

Mud looked up at Flint with wide eyes. Was Father wrong to try to kill him? For the first time since that day,Mud was doubting Flint's leadership. He looked over to Autumn for a split second,and then turned his wide eyes to Flint and the tree,terror surging through him. The look in his sister's eyes frightened him. For the first time since she was able to open her eyes,Autumn had not had the blank look that their Father had had days after Mother died. He realized the fur on his back was in a ridged line,terror and anger pulsing through him. "I hope this ends soon,"he heard Autumn whisper in a growl. He could only nod.

Rainpaw looked back up at the tree,unnerved by the black she-cat's friendly look. She is a traitor,but why do I feel sorry for her?

Spiderfang sighed and looked back up at the oak,where Shadowstar had just spoken. "I wonder what is going on in WindClan.."she muttered darkly,turning an amber glare on Wolfstar.

Runningpaw growled at the mention of his former Clanmate's name. He was here tonight,with WindClan. She is a mangy traitor that should have died on the Thunderpath,he thought with hatred. He had never believed her story about a rouge killing Gorgepaw,and before that his mentor,Dovetail. He had been at camp when the patrol arrived,Spiderfang held captive in the center. "Whats going on?he had yowled to her. Then he saw her more clearly. There was blood on her paws,and on her muzzle. In her claws were several tufts of orange fur. A cat at the back of the patrol had been moving discreetly,but now he moved just slightly to let him see. A large ginger cat was being hauled by it's scruff towards the center of the clearing. It's fur was bloodstained,covered in rips and tears. I will avenge Gorgepaw,he thought angrily. I don't care if she is kin.

Flint looked up to sky. It was completely clear, not a cloud going near the moon. He had done right by making Flamestar fall.

Sunflower's pelt bristled as she saw the cloudless sky. Why hadn't StarClan protested against Flint's violence...? She started slowly to the edge of the clearing, planning to leave. Even though StarClan hadn't covered the moon yet, she was fearing the worst was yet to come, and didn't plan on being there to witness it.

Rainpaw noticed Sunflower trying to sneak out. "Noo,"she hissed,leaping to get her. She grabbed at her scruff. "Don't go!"

Sunflower pulled away from the apprentice's grasp. "No." she meowed firmly. "I don't want to be here if a fight breaks out." she turned away from Rainpaw, growling slightly. "I'm leaving." she bounded away, heading hopefully to her camp.

Rainpaw lunged after her. "You think that those wolves wouldn't track you back to camp?"she snarled quietly.

Her breath was knocked out of her as she was buffeted by Rainpaw's weight. (not that she's heavy or anything) "Geroff!" she snarled. "Those wolves couldn't tell a cat from a squirrel, they're so dimwitted!" she quickly shut her mouth. That outburst was a little too loud. She glared angrily at Rainpaw, hoping none of the menacing canines heard her.
"Look what you made me do!" she growled quietly.

Autumn pricked her ears. Cat fight...she though,smiling. "C'mon,Muddy,"she whispered,using Mud's nick name. She padded slowly up to the two cats,tipping her head to one side. She wagged her tail and smiled at them. Mud soon followed,him being bigger than her helped her tell who he was.

Rainpaw froze as two wolves came up. "Stay,"she growled to Sunflower.

Sunflower cowered away from the approaching wolves. Had they heard her? Her gaze flicked from the canines to the apprentice. "I...I- um...." her pelt bristled at the sight of the wolves.

Autumn blinked. "If we're so dimwitted,how come we found you among all these cats?"she asked,her voice tight. Mud looked saddened. "You really said that?"he murmured,not at all his cocky self.


Rainpaw flinched and glared at Sunflower.

Her eyes widened. "I...N-no, I...." her breathing quickened as her fear hightened. She shrugged away Rainpaw and backed away from them to the edge of the clearing. The fact that wolves were just like dogs scared her, even though she had never personally known a wolf.

geez, Sun is SO stereotypical.

Autumn sighed. "We won't hurt you,but you'd better not say that around Flint. He's not...himself lately."
UGH SHORT

Sunflower didn't hear the wolf's last words. She was pelting away, across the territories, from the scene, from her Clan....from Blazeheart....remembering she had told him to meet her, she kept running.

Rainpaw looked at the wolves. "Excuse us,"she murmured,running after Sunflower. Autumn just stared after her.

Silverstar blinked at Nightstar's notion, nodding slightly, respectively even.
"ThunderClan has been thriving. We have many kits in teh nursery and have more coming. We have a new warrior; Leopardstrike. Prey is normal for this time of year; still not too bad and plenty to survive off of."

"Fine, they can be at this Gathering as long as they don't come back again. Flint, if you do that again to me I would get ready cause then we will attack you. I know you did that on purpose." he meowed looking up and knew StarClan agreed with him. But why wasn't StarClan angry when Flint attempted to kill him. He then sat down on a branch far away from Flint and Nightstar.
