lonely,and bitter(open)

cinnamonkit stared at the kits playing.this was the first time she dared go out of her den.she looked around.another kit came to and was about to ask something."no,"she bitterly hissed at him looking away,and watching the deputy.if was her friend i bet i would feel better,i dont know why though.she thought.

Goldenpaw walked sulkily out of the warriors den, still mourning the loss of his favorite warrior Moontail. He took one look at the small she-cat kit and sat next to her. No words came out of his mouth, but his eyes were clouded with memories of being alone in the nursery, no kin, no friends, not even a queen to confide in. He didn't know this kit, but he didn't want her to feel like he once felt.

Runningpaw,the tiny black tom,padded past the other cats and kits,his eyes full of warmth. Then he remembered the last time he'd walked past here. It was to see Gorgepaw's body and Spiderfang's punishment for killing him. Even though they were kin,now he hated that she-cat more than anything,as he believed she killed her sister and his mentor,Dovetail. Even now,he could hear her sing-song voice as the gray-and- white she-cat explained the importance of the warrior code. He hissed bitterly and walked on,wishing he could rip Spiderfang's throat out for taking that away.

"He seems as bitter and upset as you. Young kit, anger and denial is no way to live your life. As a warrior, isolation is impossible, you must make some friends here. Even I did, and I have no kin or denmates." Goldenpaw advised the young kit.

cinnamonkit simply looked at him."sometimes i wonder if anyone likes me.the last kit i talked to made fun of me.nice just dont workout for me."she replied sadly.she sat there staring at him."will you be my friend"she asked shyly.her icy eyes glossed with tears from memories and her cinnamon coat dull from lack of cleaning.

Goldenpaw's grim face evaporated with happiness and genorosity. "Of course. I am Goldenpaw. I have been a apprentice for 3 moons now and it won't be long before I am made a warrior." he said, then went on before the kit could reply "Who are you and how old are you? I can't be that long before your out of the nursery." He stopped and waitied the young she-cat to speak.

"i'm cinnamonkit i'm 4 moons old"she replied softly.looking up at goldenpaw.she was a little small for her age,so he was plenty taller than her.small cat-like smile came across her face.

Runningpaw noticed Goldenpaw and Cinnamonkit through his haze of anger and grief. "Hey,"he mumbled,stopping in front of them. Even Goldenpaw was larger than him,if not at least roughly the same size. He flicked his jet-black tail and sat down,his green eyes sparkling with sadness.

"h-hello"cinnamonkit studderd from surpise he was here.she backed up a bit from the black tom.

"Well, I'm going to need some help carrying prey back to the camp, and catching those hares are hard, I'll probably need some help with that too." he nudged Cinnamonkit gently and rose to his paws, padded over to the nursery to speak with the kit's mother. He stopped and turned to her "What are you waiting for? Come on." he smiled. "You could come too if you want."






ooc: Goldenpaw is larger than a adult cat, if you google African Serval cat, you can find out how big they are. After, read golden's bio to find more dirt on him.

ooc:her mom was killed by a twoleg so she a orphan she won't let the queens touch her so her coat is dull.oh an what does ooc mean.

cinnamonkit looked at him."thats not my mom"she mewed.

Runningpaw looked after Goldenpaw. "Can I come?"he asked,his eyes hopeful.

cinnamonkit next close to goldenpaw looked back at runningpaw.she softly prayed to starclan the leader wouldn't get mad.

"Well I know that's not your mom. That's Runninpaw, a WindClan apprentice, now let's go to the nursery and find her." he pointed to the nursery in a hurried flick of his tail, signally that he was growing impatient.

"Uh,Goldenpaw,she doesn't have a mother."he mewed softly,his eyes sad. Runningpaw's mother had died when he was young;so he'd been raised by his other kin,Spiderfang and Dovetail. Oh Dovetail,how I wish you were here...

cinnamonkit sat there a distaint and terrified look in her eyes remembering the sad day the twoleg killed her mom and probley(sp?), her siblings.the thunderclan cats found and brung her to windclan.she couldn't even see back than.

"Oh." he padded back to her and sat next to her with her tail wrapped around her. "My mother was killed too. She was killed by BloodClan cats for something she was not responsible. She was able to make it into this territory and, well, now I'm here. Unfurtuanatly, she died after I was 2 moons old." he intertwined her tail with his, hoping she would confide in him. He could feel her pain.

Runningpaw sighed uncomfortably. "My mother died too,from greencough,after I was a quarter moon old."

as goldenpaw spoke she snapped to reality.tears stared to roll down her face she hide her face in goldenpaw's her.soft whimpering nosies came from her.

Goldenpaw started to lick her between the ears and let her lean into him. "Runningpaw, I'm sorry, but her and I need some time alone. If anyone asks, we'll be at the stream getting a drink." he blinked at his denmate. "Come on Cinnamonkit." He rose to his paws and flicked his tail on her shoulder.

she walked after him softly trying not to cry and to calm down.

Runningpaw nodded. "Of course. I'll be hunting if you need me." He was already up and half-way across the clearing,just a tiny shadow against the stormy night. A flash of lightning showed his fur,pitch black,against the mud,his eyes fierce and grief stricken.
