OOC:*Skips past the part where the MeddiCat helps her*

Raindapple lay in the nursery, her side rising and falling with each steady breath. She'd just moved into the nursery two days ago, after she'd told Leopardstrike about her kits. She hadn't told him that he might not be the father. They would both know when they were born. So now, after many moons of not telling any cat about her kits, she finally let the secret out and moved to the nursery days before the birth.

Her eyes suddenly flashed open. But she didn't know why she'd woken up. Had she heard something? No. A sharp pain flashed through her, in her belly. The kits were coming. She let out a low yowl of pain, trying to wake someone up to help her. No one came, and the other queens weren't in the nursery. Of course! It was in the middle of the day; they were all out with their kits!

Another strong pain hit her, and she moaned, panting. Why does any she-cat want kits? She thought for a moment before pain started coming in waves, each one stronger than the last. She shrieked in agony as a spasm passed through her body, and a tiny kit plopped into the moss. She reached over, licking it's still wet body to let it live. It was a tiny dark gray tabby tom, his ears plastered to his head as he opened his maw in a silent mew of helplessness.

Another pain flashed through her, and she screamed in pain. There were two more; how could she bear it?

Bluekit was jolted awake by the shriek that seemed to pierce his dreams. He had finally gotten some sleep after hours awake, and now, this!? Immediately, he thought it was Flopsiepaw, but then he remembered, he moved out, he didn't live here anymore. And he left... Then who was? He looked over to see Raindapple, she seemed to be in pain. Near her was a... nasty looking thing. Did she just poop in the nursery?

No, wait, that was a kit! She was having kits! The new queen was kitting! She just got here two days ago! What was this!? He jumped to his feet and looked around frantically. What should he do!?

Raindapple moaned again, digging her claws into the moss, She closed her eyes in a wince, and, opening them again, saw Bluekit looking around the nursery in panic. "Please..."she panted. "Go get... The medicine cat... or Leopardstrike!"

She broke off as another spasm went through her. Another kit was born, this time a delicate gray and white tabby she-cat. She looked down at her two kits with love in her eyes. Was that all...?

Another pain struck her. Apparently not!

Get a medicine cat... Lostpaw or.. Leopardstrike? That vigilante that just showed up two days ago? Why him? Well, he was known, apparently, so, maybe they had some kind of.... needy trusty thing. Bluekit sighed to calm himself. He nodded his head and ran out of the nursery to find the medicine cat, or Leopardstrike..

Another shriek filled the nursery as Raindapple gave birth to her last kit. The pains subsided; there were only three. Thank StarClan...she thought, licking her last-born kit clean and fluffing up it's fur. She nudged it towards it's brother and sister, both of which were noisily suckling at her belly.

Then she lay her head on her paws in exhaustion, closing her eyes for a few moments. Then it sunk in; she was a mother! Pride filled her as she lifted her head and looked down at the three tiny bundles of fur. The only tom and her first-born, a handsome gray tabby. Her first daughter, the delicate cream and gray tabby. And her last-born, a pretty dark ginger tabby she-cat.

She curled her tail around them protectively as she nuzzled their soft kitten fur, trying to think of some names for them. The tom looked like a spot of coal, curled so near her white belly, while the gray she-cat had a more feathery and soft appearance. The ginger she-cat looked wild and fierce already, though she was only moments old.

Raindapple smiled. Two names were clear. "Ashkit, and Dovekit."she murmured, laying her tail gently on each of their heads as she said their new names. They opened their tiny pink jaws as if in reply, and she smiled wider. Now for the third kit... What could her name be?

"How about... Squirrelkit?" meowed Leopardstrike seemingly appearing out of thin air, next to Raindapple, who he thought was his mate, but really wasn't because she is a cheater and will eventually curse her name.

Raindapple looked up, surprise in her eyes. "Yes, that's a great name for her."she mewed, looking back down at her kits.

Bluekit stepped in behind Leopardstrike, and looked at the kits from the entrance of the nursery. Well, he found the vigilante. He walked in and looked over the other kits. They were all... small and... wet. Mmm... hmm. "Squirrelkit?" He mewed with a tilt of his head. He didn't hear the other ktis names, just that one. Squirrelkit, at the moment, was the only one he knew.

Raindapple licked the three kits. "Yes, Squirrelkit, Ashkit, and Dovekit."she murmured, her eyes shining. She heard a squeak, and looking down saw the tiny ginger kit pushing her brother and sister away with her paws. She purred in amusement. "She's already a fighter."

(WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS WAS HAPPENING!!!??? *ish done shouting* am i taking one of these kits?)

Redwhisker padded slowly into the nursery with a mouse in his mouth. He was coming to visit Raindapple but when he saw what lay in the nest beside her he dropped the prey in shock. he bounded over to Raindapple the turning back to pick up the mouse. He lay it down near her nest and gazed lovingly at the little bundles. Two she kits and a gorgeous young tom. "Have you named them?" He mewed warmly licking her check.

Redwhisker looked up seeing Leopardstrike. "How was it?" He mewed to the fellow warrior. But in the tone he said it, was the tone normally used to leaders, not equals. Leopardstrike had been chosen by Starclan so he was obviously a special cat. "These kits have good parents," He not really meaning himself despite him being their father as well.

OOC:You weren't on so you couldn't choose. Member and Jet got the other two kits and i got Squirrel

Raindapple purred, looking down. "Squirrelkit's the ginger tabby, and Dovekit and Ashkit are the gray tabbies."

ooc: Do I seriously have to call him Daddeh? I mean... really.

OOC:Nah. Just DAD! :p jk jk

(what is wrong with it? Does the kit really know any better? And he isn't a jerk any more.)

Looking at each kit Redwhisker mewed softly, "Their names are perfect."

Leopardstrike glanced at Redwhisker. Was he still here? This was a moment for the PARENTS not some creepy inteloper. "Uh... Some privacy, please Red...leg. Yes, Redleg." he said with a bright white smile.

"Leopardstrike, I'm the father too." Redwhisker mewed.

Raindapple looked up, her tail twitching. "Redwhisker, we don't know that for certain."she said in a voice that was clearly agitated. But of course, he might as well be the father. Ashkit's and Dovekit's resemblance to him was obvious. But Squirrelkit's dark ginger and black spotted coat...
