Leopardpaw and Sunflower (carried over AGAIN from withing thunderlcan territory)

Moonpaw saw Silverloud from inside the medicine den. "I still don't trust him," she murmured. She padded softly out from the medicine den tired from the long day. "I still have questions for you!" she called out across the clearing.

She padded back into the den. "I have herbs now," she mutted as she picked up some marigold. Chewing the leaves into a pulp she gently pulled the cobwebs off Sunflowers wounds. Putting the soiled cobwebs into a pile she began licking the juices into the wounds.

Sunflower opened her eyes after Moonpaw was done putting the marigold on her wounds. "Am I allowed to wake up now?" she croaked, trying to lighten the situation.

Nightleaf was doing the same with Leopardpaw."He is staying here tonight for sure.Moonpaw do you know where is Rainpaw?Sunflower your staying and since there are no other queens right now your kits are going to too.Hope there is going to be another one soon since your staying here for a long time and your kits are going to open their eyes soon and they might eat the herbs."

"i don't know where he is. I told him to wait here. You might want to look at leopardpaw's eyes. Earlier he could barely see out of his right eye, and his left is swollen shut." She put nore cobwebs on Sunflowers wounds. Going into the back of the den she picked out a few borage leaves. "Here, eat these. They help your milk supply," pushing the leaves toward here she grabbed the pile of soiled cobwebs, and took the to the dirt place to be buried.

Dreamkit's head wobbled up from where she was. She couldn't see just yet, but she could feel the vibrations of her mother in labor. "M-mummy?" She mewed, weak from being so young.

Whisperkit's pathetic mewling was drowned out by his mother's call out. Convulsions were felt in his mother's stomach. He moved around blindlessly, bumping into his bigger sister Dreamkit on the way.

Dreamkit flinched as Whisperkit bumped into her. She mewed patheticly, trying to move a way from her mother's hind quarters. She blindly looked around the den, her head trembling.

Fawnkit squeaked as Dreamkit fell over onto her after Whisperkit bumped into the older kit. She grunted and mewled until she was free.

Sunflower felt her kits squirming around and crying. Another loud shrieking filled the den as the last kit was born. She stretched to pick it up and started licking it to warm it.

Dreamkit shuffled off of Fawnkit, and blindly looked at the newest kit. She opened up her tiny mouth, as a small, pathetic mew excaped it.

"No you don't! Your going to rest! You can lick your kit later!" Moonpaw gently took the kit from her, but kept it very close. She licked the fur the wrong way until it was breathing normally and was warm. "Here," she mewed giving her kit back.

Whisperkit's mews could barely beheard over three kit's sounds. The tom floundered and tripped over his siblings, wondering exactly who the other mewing came from. Blindly, he looked up at his mother, hearing the steady lick of a tongue.

Sunflower growled a bit when Moonpaw toook the golden kit away from her even though it was close to her. She took the kit back eagerly and made sure it was okay, even though Moonpaw already had. She sighed and lay back down.
"What a day," she grumbled.

Fawnkit nosed the new kit blindly and went back to nursing.

"it sure is. Rest now you need it," Moonpaw looked up from Sunflower when she hear pawseps approaching.

Sandface had gotten up from the nursery. She couldn't sleep very well and decided to check on Moonpaw, and Sunflowers new litter. There were rumors about them in camp, but she wanted to see for herself.

Moonpaw looked at her sister. She was exceptionally big, I probably havn't been paying much attention to my clanmates. Perhaps she's just been eating a bunch. I don't recall her having a mate. Sandface's sigh broke her thoughts."Im pregnant, you know. I havn't been eating too much."

Her sister sometimes seemed to know what was on her mind, or maybe she just knws her that well. "I haven't noticed until now," she mewed honestly, afraid what her sister would think.

Sunflower looked up as Sandface entered the den.
"I see my kits will have some new playmates soon," she teased, waving her bushy tail. "Thank you for helping me protect Lillykit in the battle," she purred gratefully.

Dreamkit mewled once more at the new kit, before blindly finding her way to SunFlower's stomach. She continued on nursing, filling up with her mother's rich milk.

"I'll do anything for you and Lillykit." Loud mewling cut her off, as well as a softer one almost drained out by the other mewls. "Your kits are beautiful!" she exclaimed. "What are their names?"

Whisperkit noticed the newcomer in the room, there voice higher than Sunflower's. He listened for half-a-second before nestling herself back in his mother's chest. Feeling that the space was nearly full ne nudged in between Fawnkit and Dreamkit, trying to scoot one of them over. Giving up, he gave one last pathetic mew and collapsed on his stomach, defeated.
