Watching the Sunset.

WolfFang padded over to a rock protruding over the river. He faced the river and looked into the horizon. It was sunset and the sky was a striking orange. He was bored, he is supposed be out hunting but he always goes here before doing anything, before sunset to watch it go behind the mountains and disappear. No one has found out he goes here. He heard a rustle in the grass to his right. He suddenly smelled Thunderclan and he was expecting a cat, or a mouse that was in Thunderclan camp and never been caught, even though that is very unlikely. He slowly glanced at the grass that was moving.

Moonfur came out of the tall grass."Hey WolfFang what are you doing here?Aren't you suppose to be hunting?"

'Yes. I am.' WolfFang simply said not taking his gaze away from the now halfway gone sun. 'I always watch the sun as it goes down.' He added, still not taking his gaze away. 'What are you doing here?' He asked, finally looking at Moonfur.

"Hunting.Nothing better.Whatever.Bye."

"Hi Redfur!" said Rainpelt, from behind the bushes, she had been on the hunting patrol.
"What are you doing here?" She asked without waiting for a reply, "I love coming to whatch the sun go down and be eaten by our forest!"

'Yes. It is quite fun, isn't it.' WolfFang agreed. 'What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be hunting?' He asked. He jumped down from the ledge to the river, landing by it, only inches away. He knelt down and lapped the water into his mouth with his tongue, still waiting for her answer. He looked up at her, and saw that the sun shone off her pelt almost beautifully.

"I was chasing a rabbit and I lost it around here" replied Rainpelt, as she jumped down to the river with him. She lapped the ice-cold water, it felt delicous on her hard tounge, looking at his relection on the river she noticed how Redfur`s eyes glowed like the moon.

'Hm. . . I hadn't smelt any rabbit on my way here.' He said, in a suspicous manner. He was a bit curious but dropped it immediatley. 'So,' He continued. 'I haven't seen you around camp often. Maybe because I'm gone most the time.' He mumbled the last part almost to himself.

"I wasn't on a hunting patrol," Rainpelt confessed, "I love coming to watch the sunset, and well the only time you get out of camp is patroling or hunting."

'Yeah. Me too. The color of the sky changes the mountain's snow caps to a bright orange. Here, come see.' WolfFang said, leaping back up on the ledge a beckoning Rainpelt with a flick of his tail.

Without a reply the She-cat took one large leap to the ledge and sat beside Redfur, she could feel his strong muscle`s shifting as he repostioned.

'Look, the mountain's ice caps look beautiful.' He said, staring at the mountains. The sun was just touching the peaks of the mountains. And he loved this part of 'the show'. He really liked sharing the experience with someone else besides his reflection in the river. He looked over at Rainpelt, felt her fur touch with his and he realized, he liked it much better to have friends, than just to keep everything to himself.

Rainpelt gazed at the mountain, and the sun it was one of the most beautiful things she could think of.
"So...."
"Any good patrol's" Rainpelt asked, trying to start a subject.

'I don't do patrols that often.' WolfFang admitted, 'Just, hunt.'

"Me too!"

'What was your biggest catch?' WolfFang asked.

Love to hunt, but I love watching the sunset more!

'Hm. Yeah.' WolfFang said, not knowing what to say next.

Hmmmmy biggest catch, was a blackbird, maybe?

'Cool, mine was a. . . also a Blackbird also, I think.' Becoming silent for a while.

OOC:I think you two would make good mates.

"Well, we should head back to camp, before they get worried" Rainpelt pointed out as she got up and waited for Redfur to join her.

'Yeah, your probably right.' WolfFang agreed. He got up and followed Rainpelt back to camp.

"Anything new with you?" asked Rainpelt as they were padding back to camp.

As lionclaw came to Rainpelt and Wolfang he watched them suspicously then went straight toward them. "What the heck are you guys doing?"
