Hunting!!! (Smallflower Only)

Nightcloak padded out in to the forest, scenting the air for anything at all, the cats back at the DarkClan camp were eating prey like crazy and the fresh-kill pile was already slowly diminishing, which meant more hunting patrols for NightCloak to plan and with fewer cats it was hard to make a patrol with more than two cats. But still he tried to find happiness in exploring the DarkClan forest.

Smallflower was at Nightcloak's side. Her tail was still, and her gray maw was open. She scented the air, searching for prey. Her pelt tingled a little, as both of their pelts brushed. What is this feeling? She asked herself. Her ears pricked at the crunch of a leave. She halted, dropping into a hunters crouch. She stalked forwards, pouncing on a large vole. "Caught one!" She mewed, her voice muffled by the vole. Smallflower buried the Vole, for she would come back for it on the way back. She took her place by Nightcloak again, with the same tingling feeling

"Good Catch!" mewed Nightcloak happily, padding into the shadows for a split second, finding a mouse rushing around in a clearing gathering food. Easy prey. Crawling low he narrowed his piercing blue eyes, and leaped sailing through the air and out of the shadows, landing in front of his kill and grabbing it with his claws, finishing it off with a single bite. He picked up his catch and joined up with Smallflower once again, but what was this connection he felt with the small warrior. It wasn't like anything he had ever felt for any other cat. Was it love?

OOC: Dun Dun Duuuunnnnn!!!

"Wonderful catch!" Smallflower mewed. Her tail twitched happily. What is this feeling? I wonder... Is it.. Love? Smallflower shook her head. She had to focus on hunting first. She climbed up a tree, springing down with a sparrow in her gray maw. She dropped it down. "How much more do we need?" Smallflower asked.

"I don't know, one for each clan member, or until it starts getting late." murmured Nightcloak. They wouldn't be missed if they stayed out a little late, I mean how much trouble could they get into. But what if they did, they were extremely close to FireClan and Wolfclan, not to mention RiverClan knew they were missing and could easily find out where he was. Then that feeling pricked him again erasing all thoughts of other clans, now it was just him and Smallflower. "Do you feel that?"

Smallflower gulped. "I might not be feeling what you are feeling..." Smallflower mewed, looking at her paws. What does he feel? I don't know... I'm too distracted by how much I... Love him...


OOC: She's talking to herself! I do that ALL the time! XD

"And what are you feeling?" Nightcloak asked turning towards the beautiful gray apprentice, she was acting strange, and he was starting to feel... Awkward around her, like he had to show her how great he is, and he wanted to tell her how he felt. But he couldn't find the words. All these moons of being shy around every cat had not prepared him for this.

"U-umm... Well... I don't know how you'll react to this... But... I think... I... L-love you...." Smallflower mewed, looking down at her paws, scuffling them.

OOC: We have to hurry this up, cause I have to go to bed.

FAST-FORWARD UNNECESSARY AWKWARDNESS!!!! "I love you too." Nightcloak mewed staring into Smallflower's eyes. SAPPY THOUGHTS ERASED TO SAVE TIME!!!!

Smallflower stared back into Nightcloak's eyes. "Y-you do! Oh, thank Starclan!(Nightclan!!!!)"

OOC: Should we say that they went through everything, the hunting, and love and such, and go back to camp now?
