Resting(OPEN)

Rainpaw sank down gingerly onto her moss nest,the dried blood on her throat a moon old by now. The medicine cat had kept her in that den for AGES,and she felt stiff and tired.

Leopardpaw, back from hunting and cleaning out the Elders Den for the fifth time this moon, had just happily strolled into the Warriors Den, when he caught sight of Rainpaw, he hadn't seen here in a moon or two. Not since the ShadowClan fight. His mind raced back to the even, blood flying, his claws slashing wildly, hitting a thick mound of fur, pain shot through him through the whole ordeal. Shuddering at the memory he padded toward Rainpaw. "Hey, so Nightleaf finally let you out of the Medicine Den?"

Rainpaw jumped in surprise. "Yeah,"she croaked. "He put some gunk on my wounds,turns out I had an infection in my throat."

"I know how it feels..." he mewed quietly remembering the boring, but some times happy days spent with Moonpaw, and Nightleaf... Especially Moonpaw. he thought to himself. Leopardpaw's tail drooped sympathetically, but then the energetic Apprentice perked up, "Guess what, Silverstar says that I get to be a warrior soon. You can start calling me Leopardclaw now!" he said amusement in his eyes.

"Leopardpaw?" Lillypaw meowed "can I talk to you please?".

Well that was just plain odd... Usually Lillypaw could care less about him, but his gullibility and trusting attitude. Forced him to walk away from Rainpaw, telling her that he would be back, and sitting down in front of Lillypaw. "Yes? What is it?"

Lillypaw looked at him "I'm sorry" Lillypaw meowed "I should have talked to you before I started calling you a Trator. Who was the Cat you were with?" Lillypaw asked him.

Rainpaw shrugged. "Take your time."she grunted in exhaustion. 'Nightleaf gave me enough poppy seeds to sleep a moon,'she thought drowsily. "Oh,Leopardclaw,"she said,a spark of amusement in her blue eyes. "Congratulations."

Lillypaw snapped around at her "Its still Leopardpaw not Leopardclaw!!" Lillypaw growled.

"Sorry,"Rainpaw muttered,her amusement gone. She chuckled with dark humor before the poppy seeds sent her to sleep.

Lillypaw started at her. Then she turned towards the other Apprentice she was talking to.

"She was... Blossompaw. But I can't ever see her again, and I don't want to ever see her again. Now I know that you can never trust a cat from another clan. But I hope it will be Leopardclaw, it's just too perfect." he mewed at first a little depressed, but now completely swallowed in happiness. Though it had hurt him when Lillypaw had abandoned him, it was much better to be on on her good side.

Rainpaw stirred when she heard Leopardpaw talking. She felt she owed him,as he had saved her life in the battle when a ShadowClan warrior had her by her throat. "Hm?"she murmured.

Lillypaw pressed her muzzle on Leopardpaw's. "I know you will make a brilliant Warrior" Lillypaw meowed.

"Thanks, you're probably the only one that thinks that now, besides Rainpaw, and Silverstar." he sighed, looking down at this paws, no one trusted him, no one would ever trust him again. It would take seasons, just like Silverstar, for him to regain his honor in this clan.

"Do you want to go Hunting? Becuase we never finished our Hunt last time" Lillypaw asked him.

"Sure, but can we stay away from the RiverClan border." he mewed with an amused purr. "Rainpaw? Do you wanna come too, we're going hunting." he mewed turning back to the tortoiseshell apprentice, expectantly.

Lillypaw shot him a hard glare.

Rainpaw yawned and uncurled. "Sure. I haven't been out of camp in ages."she purred. She got up slowly and padded towards them,ignoring Lillypaw's glare.

Lillypaw glared at Rainpaw and then followed her out.

Rainpaw turned back to Leopardpaw and Lillypaw. "Where to?"
