Clover's kitting (open to all)

Clover lay in her feathery nest. (She had used feathers from birds to line it.) She opened her sleepy eyes and liked her back. A long, smooth stroke down her back. She wondered what her kit would be like. Then she felt a sharp pain he kit was coming.

Heatherpaw trotted into the nursery with a vole for the queens. She stopped when she saw Clover,who looked like she'd swallowed deathberries. "You okay?"

"Yeah fine, could you get the medicine cat?" She winced as another strong pain came.

"Um,sure."Heatherpaw mewed,scurrying out of the nursery to get Ripplesong.

Covers first kit had come. It was a snowy grey male.
"Ashkit." She purred placing her tail on the kits head.

Featherpaw walked into the nursery with herbs in her mouth. She dropped them when she spotted Clover in her nest, looking in great pain with a small, new, we kit laying next to her. Featherpaw looked with eyes wide, she didn't know how to do this! Ripplesong hadn't taught her yet. She wanted to run back and get her mentor, but she couldn't leave the she-cat here alone, she'd have to work with instincts.

Featherpaw padded quickly over to Clover, trying to be as calm as she could. "Okay, Clover, just breathe." Featherpaw looked down at the small kit. There was... something over it. She wasn't exactly sure what that was. Since she never learned this she didn't know the proper name for it. Whatever it was she began to lick it off, sicne she was sure it shouldn't be there.

"Just breathe, and.... push? Yes, push." Featherpaw nodded and went back to the tiny kit.

The next kit was born, it had silky black fur that had a tinge of blue and silver. Her muzzle had lighter silver and so did a small clump of fur on th tip of her tail. "Moon." She purred. The kit gently kneaded Clovers stomach, crying as it went. "Shhhh...." Clover quietly mewed as she guided the tiny bundle towards her with her tail. She then bent her head to lick the kit.

OOC: Uh... how many kits are there?

(Two one dies though, he last one!)

OOC: Oh, so they're all born then?

Clovers sheathed and unsheathed her claws as the last strong pains came. The last kit had come. It was a smokey grey, much like ashkit,
"Smo....." She trailed off as she realised something was wrong. She licked the kit carefully but franticly. Clover looked up at Featherpaw with tears in her eyes.
"It's not breathing!" She wept. She wrapped her tail around it and gave a long slow lick down its small back. She curled her body around her kits and buried her nose into the dead kits damp wooly fur that was on its head.

OOC: Okay.

Featherpaw pricked her ears and looked at the kit. She swipped her tongue over it's warm and wet body. Like, Sparrowsong said, the kit wasn't breathing. She laid a paw on the kit, she couldn't feel a thing. No breathing, so heartbeat, no nothing. It was dead. The poor thing never even got the chance to open it's eyes.

"I'm sorry," Featherpaw said softly.

OOC: Why Gentlekit? He/She would only be shunned... This place is EVIL... Not "Gentle"...

OOC: Maybe the warrior name will be Gentledeath? XD

Sparrowsong pulled the dead kit back towards her. She curled up with her kits again. She licked each of them and lead them to her belly to feed. All except the dead kitten. She put it near her flank where it was easy for her to lick it. "Good bye little kit." She whispered in its ear.
