Adoption(Open I suppose)

A large black-and-white tom stalked through the undergrowth,his green eyes wide with hunger. He lifted his nose to the rain-laden air,shaking his head when no prey scent was found. Danai heard a soft squeak in the bushes next to him,and pounced,killing a tiny shrew with one paw. "A little stringy,but it'll do."he sighed,grasping it in his jaws and preparing to take it home.

Small, pale eyes glinted from a tall tree. It was a kit, a She-Kit, around five moons of age. The She-kit blinked, her eyes locked on a large, older Tom. She tilted her head as the tom caught a shew. Rain pelted from the sky, making the high branch she was on slick. The kit started to fall backwards, and she tried to unsheath her claws to get her grip. Her multicolored maw let out a sharp screech as she plummeted down to the ground. The she-kit got the breath knocked out of her, so she layed on the ground, still, but she was slightly breathing. Her multicolored fur was plastered to her flanks, but mud covered most of her, barely showing any of its color. So much for the whole 'cats land on their feet' thing...

Danai heard a screech and whirled,his eyes wide with shock. A tiny kit had fallen out of a tree! He raced to her side,panic sparking in his chest. "Are you alright?"he asked in a soft,gentle voice.

The kit coughed, slightly wheezing as she tried to get up. She looked up to the tom, her eyes still holding some of the fright she had when she fell. She nodded to his words but winced in pain as she tried to move any more. She collapsed, still wheezing.

OOC: So, basicly, she gets a little too much trama... And, can't take care of herself for some time... xD

OOC:Yeah. XD

Danai smiled,but there was still worry in his gaze. "Do you have a family?"he asked,his fur slicked flat to his sides. "Are you alone?"

The she-kit shook her head at the tom's first question. "N-no..." Her mew was barely even heard from not using her voice much. She nodded to the tom's second question. "Y-yes..."

"Would you like to come live with me? I could take care of you."Danai mewed,feeling his heart break for the tiny kit. He knew that the prey was scarce around here,and that he could barely feed himself,much less a growing kit. But he couldn't just leave her out here to die. It wasn't how he was raised.

OOC: She's going to be difficult... xD

The she-kit shook her head. "I c-can mange..." Her mind said that she can manage, but what about her heart? Sen had learn to listen to her head at most times, so she stuck with her head now, too. The kit tried to lift herself off the ground again, but her legs were wobbling, so that didn't help much.

"You don't look like you can manage. Just come and rest at my den for a while. There you can get warm and have some food."Danai's tone was stern yet soft. He'd been this way when his 'mother' had found him too,determined to live on his own.

Sen coughed again, muttering to herself, but nodded to the tom. She lifted herself up, again, but soon found that her own legs wouldn't hold her for long. She got only three steps from where she was before falling again.

OOC: Muse has left the building... ><

Danai gently grasped the kit's scruff in his jaws,and carried her to his den. "Wait here,"he murmured,setting her down gently.

OOC:Sorry bout the PP. XD

OOC: It's ok.

Sen grunted as the tom lifted her and took her to his den. She nodded as the tom left for the time being, still not knowing his name.

Danai returned with the shrew,dropping it at the kit's paws. "Here."he said,padding into the dry den,his whiskers twitching. "My name is Danai,by the way."he mewed,laying down by the kit to warm her up a little.

Sen nodded to the cat, who claimed to be 'Danai.' She nudged the shrew with her nose, inspecting it. It's the one he caught before I fell... Sen looked over towards Danai and nudged it towards him. "You caught it, so you eat it..." She muttered, laying her head on her paws.

"No,I can catch another soon. I live in the middle of the territorys."Danai murmured,shaking his black and white head. "You eat it. You need your strength."

Sen sighed, flicking her tail. She looked around the den, completely forgetting about the shrew for a moment. Not much of a den, but oh well... The kit grunted, staring at the shrew again. She took one bite and almost spit it out. I bit too stringy... Sen finished off the little shrew with a few bites.

"So,what's your name?"Danai asked,watching the kit curiously.

Silverpelt looks into the den and is slightly shocked at finding the two cats there. She slips back, now hidden by the rock wall and listens in on the conversation.

Sen pricked her ears at a noise outside the den. Danai? No... He's asking for my name... Rogue? The kit scented the air, picking up mingled scents that she hasn't smelt before. She flicked her tail and opened her maw, with her voice a silent whisper. "Sen..." She made it like this so the other, she-cat maybe, wouldn't hear.

Sen heaved herself up, legs wobbling, and started forwards. She poked her head out of the den, peering over to where the she-cat hid. Her pelt bristled. Why would another try to listen in on their converation? Sen unsheathed her claws, digging them into the muddy earth.

Danai stood,his eyes hardening as he looked out at where the rogue hid. "Who are you and why are you here?"he demanded,his voice steely. He stood protectively in front of Sen,smelling wolf. "Show yourself!"

Silverpelt smiled at the kit and looked at the other cat before stepping out of the shadows. "Don't be alarmed. I was only trying to listen to see if you would be a threat." she purred. "I am Silverpelt." She steps out a little, revealing her pure silver coat. "And I'm sure you can see why." The she-cat's eyes gleamed.

"I'm Danai. Better known as the Mysterious Loner by the Clans."Danai rumbled,green eyes still wary. "Why do you have a Clan name?"

Sen's eyes darkened. She didn't like the scents on this cat, and she didn't like the fact that this she-cat was hiding something. Sen flattened her ears and hissed when Danai spoke again. Fool! Don't you know to NEVER give your name out to a stranger that you can't trust!

Danai felt his fur start to prickle. He always gave his name first,so that the other cat would start to trust him. And then...if they proved that they were untrustworthy or dangerous to his allies,Dani would attack and kill them if possible. Although he did hate killing.

Silverpelt sighed. "I was part of a clan that is no longer." She looked at Danai and saw his hesitation. "You dislike to kill, don't you?" she smiled. "Don't deny it. I also dislike to kill, so we both are similar." She looked at the kit and said, "And who are you?"
