Danai sighed and closed his eyes. "I'm gonna get some rest. I guess we have a big day tomorrow."he purred,his mind wandering. He'd need to teach the kit how to hunt and fight. Because he wouldn't always be there.

Danai soon fell asleep,his ears twitching slightly as a drop of rain flew into the den.

OOC: A FEW DAYS LATER~!

Sen blinked her eyes open as a strong gust of ice-cold wind blew in. She poked her head out of the den, only to be blinded by soft, cold white stuff lightly falling all around. \"What\'s this?\" She muttered to herself. She was only a few moons old, so this was her first Leafbare. She fluffed up her thin pelt, trying to stay warm, which was hard in this cold and with her pelt. She turned her head over to the sleeping lump of Danai. Lazy... She grunted, turning back to the world outside. She watched as snowflakes fell around, melting when they hit the ground. She smiled, which was rare, and flicked her tail. She bounded out into the little winter wonderland. "Whatever this is, it sure is fun!" The kit rolled around, covering herself in the thin layer of cold mud. This cold made her forger all about the small pain peircing through her leg from when she fell out of that dreaded tree. "Danai!" she yowled, "Get your lazy butt out here! This white stuff falling from the sky is GREAT!" She was acting like a major kit, which she was a kit, so that was natural for new things. A large snowflake hit her nose, making her go cross-eyes just to look at it before it melted into nothingness.

OOC AGAIN: Kits playing in snow for the first time makes me laugh... xD

OOC: *cough cough* Erum, Kyubert. The sow isn't sticking yet. All there are are flurries now. The brown, boring ground is still there.

Danai grunted and heaved himself to his paws,yawning. He poked his head out of the den,blinking sleepily. Then his eyes widened. "It's snowing!"he said happily,padding out to join the kit.

Sen nodded, shaking her head to get off some of the barely-sticking snow. "What is this stuff, again?" She mewed, bounding over to the older Tom.

"Snow."Danai meowed,waving his tail high in the air. "It only snows in leaf-bare."he explained.

"Really?" Sen tilted her head. She trotted up to Danai, eyes large with wonder. "What about NewLeaf? Isn't it still cold enough at the begining to snow?"

"Yes,but mostly the snow thaws and melts and the river overflows. Much like it does now."Danai purred,smiling.
