Raintalon let out a purr of amusement as the mouse bit her, but sure enough leafpaw made the catch. "That was great!" He exclaimed with warm eyes set on the mouse. "Doesn't it feel good to know that catch is feeding a elder or a warrior?" He mewed, looking at the piece of prey. "Do you want to carry that back, or should i?"

"Oh yeah! It feels great!" Leafpaw replied enthusiastically, a wide grin on her face. She did a little hop of joy. She had caught her first mouse! And it only took... two clumsy tries. Oh, she'd get it down eventually, right? "No! I want to take ti so everyone can see my first catch!" She started off with a little giggle of joy, going towards camp, head held high.

Raintalon let out a purr of amusement as he followed her. He remembered when he was like that, proud of catching a mouse or patrolling the borders. Trotting up beside her, he padded with her towards the camp.
