Goldenpaw the warrior

Goldenstorm smiled, his paws tingling with excitement. "But are vigil has to be silent!" he added.

"It has, but it doesn't mean we cant play with our tails!", Liontail mewed.

"Yeah, sure Liontail." Goldenstorm added happily before turning back to Smoketail. "May I mentor Mosspaw?" he repeated.

Watertail padded over, happily grinning at his former apprentice ''Shhh'' He said ''If you aern't quiet, I'll have to rip your tongues out!'' Watertail joked ''Im proud of all of you'' He added.

Goldenstorm once again turned away from Smoketail. "I'd like to see you try, old timer." he playfully sneered.

Smoketail purred softly. "Tomorrow night we will have the apprentice ceremony. But now you need to prepare for your vigil." He turned slightly,smiling. "Don't worry;she'll be alright until then. Although it is a bit unusual for a new warrior to have an apprentice so early."

"I will go to one of the other warrior's if I need advise. I promised Mosspaw I'd be his mentor, he asked me." Goldenstorm dipped his head gratefully. "Thank you."

"No problem. It is my pleasure to have bright young warriors training our apprentices for the future."Smoketail mewed. Then he lowered his voice. "You can come to me anytime,you know. Even though I've only mentored one apprentice in my life-time,I still remember all the moves the my own mentor taught me." He smiled at the younger cat assuringly.

Goldenstorm nodded his head slightly. He grinned devilously. "Trust me, I'll come to you." he remembered Watertail, his mentor. Watertail taught him little, he had never been around. Though they carried a great past finding Watertail's mother, Moontail, he had always felt Watertail never wanted to mentor him.

"Whoah, you already get an apprentice?!", Liontail mewed under his breath. "Congratulation! I don't want to have one yet, I want to enjoy warrior duties with Silverfang."

"Well, Mosspaw doesn't have one and I told him I would mentor him." Goldenstorm smiled at Liontail. "Just don't tell anyone."

"I won't. Tailpaw here won't, too. Isn't that so, Tailpaw?", Liontail mewed, put his tail between his paws and moved it in a nod. "See?", he smiled.

Mintleaf padded up to Liontail and went to poke him in his side meowing, "Okay, who's been sniffing the catmint?"

Goldenstorm nodded graciously to his clanmate "Thanks Liontail, I owe you."

Liontail moved one paw over Mintleaf's ear. "Hey. I wasn't even near the catmint store!", hew mewed. Then he looked around and got serious. "Well I think we should shut up already. The ceremony's long over and we need to keep vigil."

Goldenstorm nodded with approval and took his post near the entrance.

Vixenstep smiled over at the other warriors and her younger brother,going to sit beside Goldenstorm.

Liontail gave his comraded also a silent nod and sat down at the other end of the camp, looking to Mintleaf, if she was going to sit with him.
With two warriors at each side of the camp the camp was well guarded tonight.

Goldenstorm struggled not to purr as Vixenstep sat beside him and her warmth flooded into his pelt. He looked at her, smiling and gave a slight nod.

Vixenstep smiled back,closing her eyes for a brief moment. I can't believe it! I'm finally a warrior. She licked her chest fur a few times self-consciously,and flicked her tail over her paws.

Mosspaw went back to the apprentices den, clearly tired from the ceremony. (past his bed time x_x)

Goldenstorm looked back at his territory. It looked much bigger, greater now that he was a warrior. He watched it through the night, not stirring to move his tail.

Liontail looked over his shoulder and got Goldenstorms gaze. His eyes grew heavy now. So much happened today. He tried to stay awake until dawn, but his eyes were already hurting and calling for sleep. He looked around, if someone was watching, then leaned against a bush and closed his eyes. It would harm nobody if he just rested a bit, he wouldn't fell asleep.

Goldenstorm got sick of looking at his territory and turned to look at his friends. He saw Liontail nodding off. Not if I can help it... He picked up a stone in his jaws, placed it by his tail and plucked over to Liontail. Hopefully it would wake him up.

Liontail woke up with pain. He was about to scream but put his paw on his mouth so he won't. I dozed off... He looked over and saw Goldenstorm who looked at him. He mouthed SORRY and sat straight. Hopefully dawn's coming soon so he could sleep.
