You Again? (Member ONLY)

"Yeah, but I'll warm up after a good nap." Leafpaw yawned after she sid that. She wasn't tired, despite her yawn, she just... needed to yawn! "I don't know how you seem to keep warm." At least, that's what it seemed like. He didn't look cold at all!

"Another advantage of eating fish maybe?"he teased,prodding her soaking wet fur with one paw. "You might need to get going. It's almost dawn,and you haven't slept at all. You'll need all your energy for tomorrow." Batpaw did feel a twinge of disappointment that she had to leave,but he chastised himself and said she'd be back tomorrow. She would be,wouldn't she?

Leafpaw nodded her head. She was tired, but... someone would notice if she was gone too long. And she needed time to let her fur air out from his scent. "Okay," she purred. "I'll go, but not because I'm tired!" She told him. She stepped back into the cold water and swam, just as she was told before, back to the other side. "I hope those two apprentices don't bother you when you get back." She smiled.

She started back to camp as the trapped water in her fur slowly dripped out. Her paws felt heavy as she walked. She'd never get used to it.

Batpaw stared after her,longing buried deep in his heart. Then he shook his head;No. They would kill him if anyone ever found out about his meeting Leafpaw! So,with one last glance back,he faded into the predawn night,towards RiverClan camp.

Rockpaw stepped out in front of Leafpaw after making sure that the huge tom-cat was gone. "Leafpaw! Where have you been!"he hissed,eyes still wide with shock.

Leafpaw stopped mid-step when her brother, Rockpaw appeared. What was he doing here!? Had he seen her... with Batpaw? Oh, StarClan, please say no. It was innocent, yes? She shouldn't be punished with her brother's spite and anger, should she?

"I was... out here of course," she said waving her tail around, indicating the forest. She gave a few quick licks on her chest, tasting the water and it squeezed out.

"What were you doing with that RiverClan cat? Was he attacking you? Are you hurt?"he demanded,anger at Leafpaw's lie making his voice high-pitched. Well,it wasn't quiet a lie...but still...Rockpaw couldn't believe that Leafpaw,his sister,would lie to him because she had snuck across the border!

"No, no, he wasn't! He's really nice." Very, very, nice. Ah, Batpaw. She looked back at her brother. She really wanted to tell him the truth, they were so close, but... she didn't want him to be so angry. What if he never talked to her again? Or he hated her forever? Or she told the rest of the clan! She'd be shunned! And Raintalon, her beloved mentor, would never forgive her. She'd alredy seen his contempt for RiverClan cats and their fish.

"Please don't be angry, Rockpaw. I was just..." She trailed off and turned her head from him, unable to finish her sentence.

"Just what?"he pressed,stepping towards her. "I don't want you to get in trouble,but I need to know what's going on!"

OOC:I would make the post longer buuuut I only got 5 or less mins...I basicly snuck on....>< and i gots no muse!

"I was just talking to him okay!" Leafpaw yowled at him. There! She said it, she was talking to him. "I was over on the river clan side went over there by accident. We weren't doing anything wrong! We were just talking! Okay!?" She yowled her word out, each holding a bit of agony behind them. Why did he have to press? Her tail drooped and she hung her head. She'd just take whatever he was going to throw at her.

"OK,OK! I just don't want to get you in trouble!"Rockpaw growled,eyes flashing. His tail lashed and he muttered something under his breath before saying,"Just....help me with an excuse as to why your all wet."

"Simple. I fell in the river, a lot of cats seem to be doing that lately." She thought about it a little bit. Yeah, that would work. She stepped closer to her brother. What would he do now? Would he... watch her or something?

"Alright. That'll work. I'm not gonna say anything,but if it happens again I'll tell Silverstar."he growled threateningly,waving his tail.

"Please don't, Rockpaw! It was innocent! Please don't tell!" She begged. Why would he tell!? Why!? She wouldn't tell on him, would she? NO! Never! Leafpaw was always a bold cat, but her cln was her weakness.

"Then don't do it again! I don't want to,but I will if it means keeping you safe!"Rockpaw hissed,eyes flashing with anger and sadness.

Leafpaw looked over at her brother with sadness. Her ears dropped and she gave a sigh of defeat. "Okay," she said in a low voice. "I want do it again, I promise." She lifted her ears and gave a... happier look to her brother, a smile on her face. "You can even follow my every move if you want."

"No. I believe you."Rockpaw said,relieved. "I just don't like it when you lie to me."

Leafpaw walked over to her brother and gave him a lick on the cheek. "I'm sorry, I wont do it again. Anyways, what was I thinking? I would get in so much trouble if anyoine else came? And what if it was a RiverClan cat?" she nodded. "The only time I'm supposed to talk with other cats in other clans is... at the Gathering. Right?"

"Yep. And on border patrols,sometimes."Rockpaw said,returning the lick. "C'mon,everyone's been worried about you."

"Well it's good to know they care," she said with a yawn. She was tired, she saw now, and the walk would make it worse, with her pelt all wet and everything. She was glad Rockpaw was here, now that she thought about it. How would it have been different if he hadn't come and found her? Much, she knew.

"Yeah. Let's get you somewhere warm."Rockpaw murmured,pressing his warm fur against her soaking wet body,and shuddering as the cold seeped into his fur.

"Well where are we going to go? It's not exactly warm anymore you know," she laughed. Well, anywhere was probably warmer if she weren't so wet! The wind just made everything so much colder, she could swear that she was getting greencough as they spoke, StarClan forbid.

"Camp maybe?"Rockpaw laughed,padding closer to camp. "C'mon."

"Oh, of course! Now what was I thinking?" She followed behind her brother to camp. She wasn't sure how the days after this would go. She wouldn't go back to the river, at least not at night. There was no reason to come out in... secret, as it seemed. She didn't think she was sneaking, but... it felt like it, as she thought about it. She didn't want to do things in secret. She wouldn't go back to the river at night, ever, not without reason other than the one she had now. She wouldn't!

Rockpaw laughed. "Alrighty then." He shook his pelt and said,"I'm going to run ahead to camp,I have some moss I need to get to the queens."before dashing off,a shadow in the night.

"Okay," she mewed before she watched him run off. She gave another yawn before she proceeded to camp, no regrets of her decision. She was... happy, she wasn't coming back here, but she also felt strangely empty... Why? It was nothing, nothing. She would get over it in no time.
