Guess What?!? (Jet ONLY Plus one Person from WindClan or RiverClan!)

Birchfoot trotted out onto his territory, eyes shining. Despite the constant threat of starvation from the rain, he was happy. After all, he'd just gotten his warrior name! Now he was going to meet Ebonypaw, to tell her the great news. However... He didn't predict that an earthquake would shatter the peace of their meeting...

Ebonypaw silently padded towards the WindClan boarder. She knew it was a very risky situation but she couldn't resist the urge to see Birchpaw. The two hadn't seen each other in days, and it was ripping Ebonypaw's heart in half. She needed to be with him, even just a few minutes would settle her rattly nerves. She dropped to the ground, jogging as fast as she could and as low as she could towards Birchpaw.

"Hi." she panted, her belly fuller than Birchpaw's realized, This weather sure has taken a toll on everyone. I just hope he and his Clan will be alright., she thought to herself. "You okay?" she asked, purring softly.

Birchfoot purred and pressed his muzzle against her's. "Yes. Everything's fine. Smoketail took Vixenstep and most of the other warriors to the Gathering, so it was easy getting out here."

Ebonypaw shook her head, it was the same with her. Not being picked to attend a gathering was sometimes a good thing. Well, in her case. "Same thing with me. Shadowstar hasn't been .... well .. lately." Ebonypaw hadn't really known how to explain Shadowstar's failness. She looked down at the wet ground, she didn't mind it, but maybe Birchpaw would. "Want to find a dry place to talk? She asked, looking directly at a medium-sized rock a few feet behind. "They wouldn't see us behind that." she motioned her tail over towards the sheltered area.

"Sure!" he purred, padding over to the rock and sitting within it's shelter. "Oh, and my name's Birchfoot now. I'm officially a warrior."

Ebonypaw purred in delight, "Congrats, I only wish that Shadowstar would make me one. I know some of the battle and hunting techniques more than the senior warrior's." she sighed, looking down at her muddy and wet paws. When will this weather end?!?

"Don't worry." He reached over to lick her ear affectionately. "You won't have to wait long." Birchfoot twitched his ears. "How is everything going in your Clan?"

"We're okay, the rain isn't affecting us that bad, the fish supply is very good right now. But our leader isn't doing good, and its taking a toll on everyone." she sighed, knowing her situation was probably better than Birchfoot's. "Yours?

Birchfoot smiled, glad that Ebonypaw's Clan was OK. "We're doing better. But Wolfstar is sick, and Smoketailk had to give me my warrior name. This is the second time he's spoken at the Gathering."

Ebonypaw shifted closer to Birchfoot, purring even louder. "I'm just glad that we are together." she said, her aqua blue eyes shinning. "It's been a while since we've met." she added, her black fur blended with his.

ooc: no muse, and, can I have some crackers with all her cheese?

"Yeah," Birchfoot purred, twining his tail with her's.

IC: Mintleaf padded across the rain-soaked moor. It was an uneventful, seeing as she wasn't picked to go to the gathering. She was just padding along with her head in the cloud when she caught the tinest scent of RiverClan. She froze in her tracks and sniffed as hard as she could, making sure it was there past the rain. It was there alright and smelled close. She began following the scent and saw a rock. It was worth a try so she headed there. When she was close enough she started stalking towards it, though not spotting anyone. Upon reaching it she started climbing up the rock. She soon came to the top and did a three-sixty, looking at the surrounding territory. No moving thing was in sight. So instead of going on about her buisness she decided to look down. She was greeted by the sight of Birchfoot and Ebonypaw. She chuckled, "Hello."

"Hello,"
Birchfoot froze, the fur along his striped spine beginning to bristle. He looked up, his eyes huge with surprise. He saw Mintleaf staring at them, and almost knew what she was thinking. He sprang away from Ebonypaw, standing between her and his Clanmate.

Ebonypaw whipped her head around to a see Mintleaf standing just ahead of Birchfoot. She knew that there was no point in hiding it or anything, but was it worth a try? No .... But Ebonypaw couldn't bring herself to say a word. She looked straight at Mintleaf and wished that everything would be okay. She sighed and waited for someone else to speak.

"Stay behind me," Birchfoot hissed to Ebonypaw, ready to defend her if Mintleaf attacked.

OOC: Muse shot in head.

Mintleaf sighed and jumped down in front of Birchfoot, landing on all fours gracefully. Her spotted fur never bristled and her teeth never shown. "Must you hide? It's not like I haven't known for quite some time." Her eyes glittered as she made eye contact with Birchfoot and then Ebonypaw.

"You knew?!" Birchfoot's heart seemed to stop. "B-But nobody else knows!"

Mintleaf tilted her head slightly as she recalled all the times she had spied on them. "Well I knew from the beginning, when you two first met." After that she had sneaked out to watch them everytime she saw Birchfoot leave camp.

Birchfoot flattened his ears against his head, shame filling him. "Did you tell?"

Mintleaf chuckled, "You haven't gotten in trouble yet, have you?" She probably never would tell. It had began a fun game to her, always stalking the two love birds.

"No," he said, narrowing his eyes with confusion. "Why haven't you told? When you know this," He waved his tail at Ebonypaw and himself, "Is forbidden?"

Mintleaf pondered over it for a moment, actually taking in his words. Finally she replied, "It may be forbidden, yes. But does the warrior code state that we have to betray our clanmates?" She looked at him, seeing if he had an answer to that.

Birchfoot's eyes widened. "Well... no..."
