Procrastination

Coldpaw laid out in a corner of the camp, her tail twitching in bordem. She could go out of camp and chase it away, but she preferred not to. It was her style to sit around and do nothing all day. She may hate being bored but she enjoyed being a burden more. She looked up at the cloudy sky and a rain drop splashed into her right eye. She shook her head and tried to blink the moisture away. When it was out she laid her head on her paws as the rain ran through her slick pelt.

Lonepaw titled his head, seeing Coldpaw laying across the camp. He walked over to her, not actually knowing why, or what he was going to say, but he felt like saying something. Get his mind off the rain, not that he hated it. He loved it. "Hey, Coldpaw." He said... trying to think of something to add to that.

Coldpaw's ear laid flat at the sound of another cat's voice. She opened her eyes to see Lonepaw looking at her. She hissed, "What do you want?" She liked to be alone, that's why she tried to run away from RiverClan some moons ago. She wanted to know why so many cats tried to be nice, which would only get them killed someday.

Lonepaw frowned when she hissed at her. Goodness, he couldn't even say a hello. Maybe he should just leave. "You know, we don't need two Deathpaws," he growled back at her. If things weren't bad enough, they didn't need another cat to make everything crap.

Coldpaw glared at Lonepaw when he growled at her. She huffed, "I'm not like that mouse-brain!" Her tail swished in the anger of being compared to Deathpaw. She just preferred to be left alone to slack off in peace. Why did everyone think that she wanted to be talked to. She hardly talked to anyone, and when she did her tongue was sharp. So were did the idea of "let's talk and bug Coldpaw" come from?

"No need to be like that," Cherrydapple said, coming over. "What's wrong?"
