NightStar vs DustClaw

"Why not!? C'mon!" Beekit pestered Foxkit more.

Stormkit hissed back at Foxkit. He didn't even acknowledge her enough to turn fully towards her. He just glared back at her, daring her to say something else, and if she did? What did he do? Oh, he didn't know.

Stormkit tilted his head at Owlkit. White squirrel? He looked at what Owlkit was pointing at, seeing that it was him. "I'm not a squirrel." He growled. "And I'm not white you blind weirdo." He was a black cat, and if that kit couldn't see it then he had more problems than he thought.

Foxkit was bowled over,and she laughed,batting at Owlkit's ears. "That's another kit,you mouse-brain!"she meowed,her eyes full of amusement. She pushed at Owlkit,trying to push the bigger tom off of her. "Hey!"she said in a muffled mew when Lightkit curled his tail around her mouth.

Cloudfrost padded up beside his leader,glaring at Nightstar. He still remembered their encounter on the border. "ShadowClan would never do such a thing!"he hissed,irritated.

"So explain to me, why Stormkit came upon here, stuck in the maw of your warrior Dustclaw? We saw him come into our camp, begging to join, then steal one of our kits, we chased him here, so how do you explain that Redstar." growled Nightstar his eyes meeting Redstar's in a sophistcated and focused glare that only leader's could make.

"What-"Cloudfrost was surprised. "That mouse-brain didn't!" His sightless blue eyes filled with fury.

Redstar growled menacingly. "That fool!" He spat. "I never did trust him." He tried to clam himself down, sheathing and unsheathing his claws. After a while, he meowed, "Shadowclan is not responsible for Dustclaw's actions. Stormkit will be returned unharmed. And I, too, hope we can continue a friendly alliance."

Cloudfrost nodded,but his eyes still burned with anger. "I do hope the next time we meet will not be on the battlefield."
