Watertail's adventure.

Watertail was bored. Bored out of his mind, he wanted somthing to do. The borders were queit, the hunting was going normally and there was no news going around the clan. Watertail knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to go on an adventure. Not just a big hunting expedition. nor looking for badgers or foxes. He was going to look for the one thing that has haunted him his whole life. He was going to find his real mother. Even if it meant intruding into other clans territorys. It was mid-day so he went out into the clearing planning his sneaking out until he saw a his clanmate padding toward him.

It was Goldenkit. "Where are you going, can I come?" He asked. "I'll behave, I promise. Please?" He begged.

''Goldenkit, you're to young. Go and see if any of the elders have any good stories.''said Watertail ''And as for where im going, it's a hunting expedition.''
he lied. and started walking toward the entrance. i really hope he doesn't follow me!

"But I'm only 2 moons until I'm ready for a mentor, I'd like you to be mine. I already asked Wolfstar if I can be an apprentice, and I waiting for his answer."He explained. "If this is a secret mission or something I would like to come because I have nothing to do around camp. The clan is okay with me being here, but they don't really give me any respect because I am a loner's kit. Please I can use the experience, and I won't hold you up."

''But what would Wolfstar say?'' Asked Watertail ''Trust me, this is dangerous, im afraid if you come, there will be no apprentice for me.''

Pinepaw was walking to the fresh-kill pile when he saw Goldenkit and Watertail talking. He decided to see what was going on. So Pinepaw walked near the cats listening as hard as he could
But what would your mother say? Trust me, this is dangerous, im afraid if you come, there will be no apprentice for me.
He heard Watertail say. ''I wonder what he means'' said Pinepaw muttering to himself.

"But Watertail, I'm the fastest and the strongest kit in camp, and I'm smart enough to hide if I need to. Please, I might even be able to help you" Goldenkit pled.

Watertail sighed.''Ok, but i have rules; Rule number 1, listen to me at all times. Number 2, do not tell anyone what we're doing, and number 3, be aware that you may not come back'' Watertail then remmebered something ''And if you're wondering what im actually doing, I'm looking for my lost mother, I'm sure you've heard that story before. Come on follow me'' But before he could get an answer, Pinepaw padded toward him.



''Watertail!'' exclaimed Pinepaw ''I know what your doing'' Watertail gulped ''ummmm, i can explain'' But Pinepaw silenced him with his tail ''Don't worry, i know how you feel, but why Goldenkit? He's a kit! But don't tell me, I'm sure you have a reason'' He sighed ''One more thing take these'' He said pushing two bundles of herbs toward them ''These will keep your strength on your travels'' Watertail was confused ''t-thank you! Come on Goldenkit we'll sneak out through the dirt tunnel''

"Okay, what direction are we going to head towards?" Goldenkit asked.

''First let's check around our territory, Let's go'' Said Watertail walking toward the tunnel.

"Coming, but what are setting out to do? I know it's not a hunting expedition." Goldenkit asked.

''I'm looking for my lost mother, I'm sure you've heard that story before.''Said Watertail heading out of the clearing
