Rematch

Goldenstorm was suprised, he wasn't sure who was going to pin who. He smiled with delight, he pushed down harder. "Give up?" he asked playfully, still having plenty of energy to continue they're fight.

Mintleaf tried thrashing and wailed, "Noooo!"

ooc: *revives muse with electric paddles* CLEAR!!!

Goldenstorm laughed, "Go on, get me off!" he cheered, almost encouraging Mintleaf to kick him off.

Mintleaf growled at Goldenstorm's teasing. She started kicking out with her hind legs.

OOC: IT'S NOT WORKING!

ooc: OMG!!! SOMEONE GET A MEDIC!!

Goldenstorm laughed, "Nice try!" he leaped off, facing Mintleaf as he waited for her to rise again.

Mintleaf rose to her paws slowly and breathed out a long breath. "If you were a DarkClan cat, I would have been dead," she admitted. Her green gaze met Goldenstorm's and she dipped her head in defeat. She smirked though and boasted, "But I'm still faster than you!" It was a good fight and she tried her hardest while having fun. She regretted nothing, and that's what counted. "So," she asked, "what new challenge will we think of next?"

Goldenstorm was too busy laughing, "If I was a DarkClan cat, I'd be preoccupied eating crowfood." he threw the insult freely at the cats that were currently not there.
He let his laughter come to a stop, he thought. "Can you swim?"

Mintleaf paused and thought about. When she was traveling to WindClan she swam sometimes. "It was a while ago, but I think I might still remember how," she finally said. She nodded in agreement with herself.

Goldenstorm grinned, "Let's go." he whipped around and raced down to the creek, rain drops crashing onto his fur like a thousand flea bites at once.

Mintleaf replied, "Alright then," and charged after Goldenstorm. She easily raced up beside him and slowed down to stay pace with him. "Let's hope it's not flooded," she said.

"We wouldn't let that ruin our fun, would we?" Goldenstorm grinned wickedly, "Come on, let's go faster." he pushed his legs faster, still able to go quicker but he stayed at an easy pace as he and Mintleaf raced through the heather.

Mintleaf sped up to match stride with Goldenstorm. She chuckled, "I would hope not!" Soon she spotted the water and she stated, "Looks somewhat swollen." Hopefully it wouldn't be too full.

Heather eyes full of happy confidence, Goldenstorm replied, "The bigger the better!" and skidded to a halt from his gallop down the hill as they came upon the creek.

Mintleaf stopped next to Goldenstorm and gazed at the creek. "It's smaller than I would have thought." She looked at him and asked, "So what's the rules?"

Goldenstorm looked at the small stone that barely pierced through the smooth current's surface. They were scattered across the creek, some parts were bare, nothing to step onto to help him get across. "Alright, first one to get across the creek and back." he mewed, "When you get over, you have to get as many pebbles as posssible in you mouth then come back. The one who has the most rocks wins."

Mintleaf nodded and studied the creek's surface. She saw a few stepping stones here and there, but she'd probably have to swim at least once. She grinned and yelled, "Go!" She leapt for the nearest one, paws extended. She felt her paw pads scrape the surface and her claws slid out to help grip the surface. She almost slid off but managed to stay on top. She looked back at Goldenstorm to see if he'd even started yet.

Goldenstorm was having a blast, he and Badgerclaw used to do this all the time. He leapt off the shore, landing a few stones forward. He kept his claws in so that he didn't skid on the rocks, his pads were plenty thick since he had so much experience already. At the gap, he bunched his hindlegs up to lunge over the water.

Mintleaf jumped onto the next stone, doing the same so she wouldn't slip off. Then she leapt across to the next one, though it was more slippery. One of her paws slid into the water so she had to pause to shake off the water. Now she was about halfway across the stream.

Goldenstorm leaped, his hind legs unraveling like a spring as he flew through the air, over the water. He landed on the stone just after the watery gap. He almost fell over, his weight trying to fall over ahead of him. He stopped himself, pulling out his back claws and pushing with his rough pads on his front legs. "That was a close one." he laughed, he kept moving forward, leaping from stone to stone, three quaters over the creek.

ooc: What is this about? Can someone please tell me, because I can't bother reading all those pages.

OOC: *punts Sneeze* If you don't want to bother than don't post here. . .

Mintleaf saw Goldenstorm get ahead of her and was almost to the other side. She bunched up her muscles and sprang to the next stone. It had a more rough surface so she hardly slid at all. She scanned for the next rock and saw a nice one almost straight out in front of her. She leapt and, using her claws, anchored herself on it. Now she was about even with Goldenstorm, but ready to get ahead. She saw one in Goldenstorm's path, but still in jumping range. She could cut him off if she got there. She sprung onto the rock, though her back paws both splashed in the water. She pulled them up and stood on the rock.

Goldenstorm's eyes were filled with excitement and his body rushed with adrenaline, recieving an extra dose when he saw Mintleaf out in front of him. "Oh no you don't." he grinned. He sprang forward, a massive leap over the last few rocks. His paws hit roughly on the ground and he stumbled a bit, loosing some vital time.

Mintleaf saw Goldenstorm jump over her and onto the other side. That blew that idea. Instead of complaining she bunched up and bounded to a rock and then onto the shore next to him. She reached down and, using her paws as shovels, put as much rocks in her mouth as possible. It was a bit hard to keep them all in there, and somewhat harder to breathe. She turned around and bounded back onto a stepping stone, but one pebble in her mouth did fall out and went plunk as it hit the water's surface.
