Rematch

While Goldenstorm was kicking out his paws Mintleaf tried to immoblize him by lightly grabbing him by the scruff.

Goldenstorm could feel his scruff grabbed, he pulled his hind-legs back and flipped over, hopefully landing on Mintleaf's back.

Mintleaf let herself relax so she would be pulled with Goldenstorm's movements, but held onto his scruff and if anything held onto it tighter.

The tom couldn't believe it, but he ended up laughing. Mintleaf landed upon his back as he landed on his paws. "Nice one." he laughed. He twisted his head around, ignoring any pain that might be driven into his scruff, and snapped his jaws at her nose, not too hard, but hard enough to make her let go.

Mintleaf mumbled around Goldenstorm's fur in reply to his somewhat of a complimet. When he nipped at her nose she ignored the pain but thrust her legs out and down towards the ground. She also went to shove down and try to push Goldenstorm on the ground.

Goldenstorm had his knees locked and he refused to go down. He released his jaws and went back to bite Mintleaf again, as he did, he bucked hard hoping to get her off.

Mintleaf pulled her face back to avoid Goldenstorm's second bite but the buck threw her off. She rolled across the ground but popped back up after one rotation. Then she darted around him in a circular type pattern. Occasionally she'd throw a swat at him before backing away and continuing the circle. Finally she slammed her paws on the back of his paws to knock him down and went to follow up with leaping onto his neck.

Goldenstorm fell onto the ground, taken off guard just a bit. He saw her leaping for his neck and backed up so that she would land in front of him. "I thought this was supposed to be a game?" he laughed.

Mintleaf's eyes caught the motion and pivioted to realign herself back with Goldenstorm's neck. "It is," she replied. Just if she landed on his neck it'd probably hold his head down. If he was that open she could finish this up.

Goldenstorm laughed, "What a game!" he rolled over onto his back, his paws ready for Mintleaf.

Mintleaf fell on Goldenstorm's paws and let out an "oof" as some of the air was knocked out of her. It was getting harder to fight because she was running out of steam. She didn't know how to end it before he got the better of her.

Goldenstorm was loving this whole thing, he could feel his heart racing and didn't ever want it to stop. He let out a chuckle, smiling. "Up you go!" he laughed, pumping his legs up hard and a little to the right.

Mintleaf went back up through the air, except she was thrown to the right. She rolled against the ground but popped up. She didn't know what to do next, since Goldenstorm was on his back.

Goldenstorm stood up, but not in a fighting stance. "Come on!" he urged, his tail straight up and he stood on his feet as if were the most playful kit alive.

"Be ready!" Mintleaf warned and leapt for Goldenstorm but it was fake. She landed in front of him and aimed a few blows to his head and shoulders. Then she jumped swiftly to the side, to dodge any counterattacks. But she wasn't over because she bent down and rammed upward at his underbelly.

"Whoa!" he laughed and the golden tom rolled onto his belly, completing a full roll and landing back on his paws. Goldenstorm crouched down like a playful puppy with great smile on his muzzle.

Mintleaf smirked and boasted, "Yeah, that's what I thought!" She swished her tail playfully, and also distractingly. She started walking around Goldenstorm in circles, creepy smile still plastered on. Finally she faked a swipe to one of his hindlegs but actually went for one to his head.

Goldenstorm leaped up to the side and landed neatly on his paws. While Mintleaf went for his head, he went for her front right paw. If I can get her paw, I can drag it under her and flip her over. He laughed in a giggling way. "It's on!"

Mintleaf chuckled, "It's not cool when tom's giggle!" She then thrust her head forward and tried to lightly nip Goldenstorm's paw that was going to grab her right paw. But she also used her left paw to try and hook his jaw.

Goldenstorm felt his jaw scraped by Mintleaf's claw as she tried for his paw. "Hey!" he smiled. Her aim was just off and he slipped under her, he curved his paw just when he thought it was in front of her. "Claws sheathed!" he teased, his scrath barely an itch.

Mintleaf felt her right paw, the one keeping her standing, being pushed backwards. She fell down, not able to bring her left one down fast enough. Her breathe escaped her as her chest smacked the ground.

Goldenstorm grinned and let go of her paw, he still on his belly. He flipped backwards and landed on his paws. He stood up, "Give up?" he asked, teasing his friend.

Mintleaf looked at the golden tom in defeat and meowed sincerely, "Well if you put it that way. . ." Defeat was thrown out and replaced by arrogance and confidence. "Never!" she yowled with vigor and pushed off with her back paws, her back end flying over her head. Her flexibility allowed her to twist onto her paws right-side up. Then the golden spotted she-cat leapt for her opponent.

Goldenstorm grinned, "I was hoping you'd say that!" he lunged at her, his paws aimed at her shoulders.

Mintleaf was overtaken by Goldenstorm. For one, they were airborne and for two, he had more strength than her. His paws met her shoulders and forced her down to the ground on her back. She started to squirm to get away.
