FOX HUNTING! (Kit peoples)

ic: Berrykit stopped as a bigger cat attacked the fox. It fought wild like a tiger. "Go for it!", she yowled.

ooc: thanks Sandey. Honestly, I thought I was posting in WcT. xd

Goldenstorm blocked out the mew of encouragement and focused his mind on the task where his claws lay. He moved forward, reaching it's neck as the fox bucked and jumped, tossing it's head about as the tom clung close to the redfurred beast. Bringing a paw off and pulling harder with his opposite paw, the WindClan warrior slashed his paw through the air and made it hit fox deep into the throat. Driven deep in it's flesh, he tore back, feeling the skin tear under his paws.
The body underneath him went limp as the fox crashed to the ground, Goldenstorm leaped off as it started to fall and landed neatly on his paws.
He eyed the kits harshly. "What were you thinking?" he meowed sternly.

Otterkit, being nder the fox at the time Goldenstorm attacked, had felt half of the impact and was now under it crying and lashing out with fury, bleeding from one leg badly.

Goldenstorm whipped around, a deep growled forming in his throat as he burried his jaws in the fox and heaved it into the air and threw it beneath a rough bramble bush, vacant from any kits.

Otterkit tried to get up, but fell as he did so. He glared up at Goldenstorm, having to resort to lying. "Don't punish them for my fault Goldenstorm." He snarled. "I said it would be a good idea to come find the foxes." His eyes widened. Why had he just let that slip?

Goldenstorm's eyes let no feelings show as he replied, "It was a brave but foolish decision, Otterkit." he turned to the other kits, "Every cat is coming with me, whether your WindClan or not." he announced. He looked back down at Otterkit, "Can you walk?"

Otterkit breathed a sigh of relief. Goldenstorm hadn't noticed the word foxes. He looked up at the warrior again. "If your planning on carrying me, yes I can walk. If your not, no I can't."

Goldenstorm grunted, "Then come on, we have to get back. Pinepaw will have to fix you up." he mewed calmly.

"Ew not Pinepaw!" Otterkit whined, then strated to cough. Stupid cold. "I want Minkfur!"

ooc: *cries* UR A BIG FAT MEANIE!!! xd

Goldenstorm stayed the way he was, "Enough. You've gotten yourself into enough trouble, this will be your punishment." he flicked his long tail, "Now come."

"Be careful!" Sparrowkit shouted as Goldenstorm whizzed past, his golden pelt blending with the fox's russet one as they fought with one another with such speed that he could barely tell who has hitting who. It was when the fox collapsed, limp, its orange-red fur stained scarlet that he realized the fox was dead. "I-it was my fault too, Goldenstorm." He mewed, bowing his head and glancing at Otterkit. "I helped lead them into attacking the foxe-" He coughed to cover up his mistake. "The fox." He finished. We'll be in so much trouble... but at least the fox is dead, right? He thought halfheartedly.

Goldenstorm dipped his head, "It makes no difference now. Let's go, now." he eyed Otterkit, waiting for the small tom to get up.

Berrykit followed the group, tail and head down. She limped her way behind Goldenstorm, her left hindleg still hurting from falling over it. What will Morningflower and Skimble say?, she thought. I wanted to make them proud and now we get punished. She made a face like that: :(

Bramblekit walked along, tail drooping. He didn't bother to look at his shoulder wound. He didn't care about it so he ignored the pain. He was so angry with himself. I probably could've killed the fox. If I had tried a bit harder... Ugh! Why, why am I so stupid!

OOC: He's shnot small. He's apprenticed aged. D<

Otterkit looked at Spparowkit angrily. It wasn't an yuse if all of them got into trouble! "Your crazy! It jumped out and surprised us all!"

"You were the one that attacked it!" Sparrowkit shot back in his defense. "And I was just trying to save Berry-" He cut off. Great, he was dragging Berrykit into this now? "We're just lucky that Goldenstorm came in time!" He growled.

Otterkit glared harder at his litter-mate. You idiot! He mouthed angrily.

Mouse-brain! He retorted silently, his gaze equally furious. What's wrong with him? This is completely his fault!

Otterkit sighed. The fool obviously didn't get that he WANTED to take all the blame.

OOC: *flails*

Goldenstorm looked at the two, leading the group as he kept walking. "Knock it off. What's done is done, there's no use arguing about it." he could feel the tension between the two kits.

Berrykit sniffed sadly. "Goldenstorm, don't be angry with the others.", she mewed and let out a big sigh. "It's all my fault. If I hadn't jumped yowling through the bush the fox hasn't noticed us. Out of fear I froze and then everyone got hurt. It's all my fault!" She started to limp faster to escape the sight of the others. "I'll never be a warrior like this!", she yowled and tears began to drop to the ground while she tryed to outlimp the others.

ooc: outlimb = outrun while limping

Otterkit sighed. Idiots, the lot of them. Why couldn´t they just let HIM take all the blame?

Goldenstorm paid no attention to Berrykit, he was no queen, but he wasn't their father either. He had to leave it up to their parents. He kept moving, the camp in sight. "We're almost there."

Skydapple came bursting through the trees. "Hi Goldensto- what happened?" she asked in horror, seeing the group of kits. "And how did you all get so many scratches!"
