An Evil Chat (Cont. OPEN)

Nightpaw slowed to a halt as they entered the RiverClan camp, few cats were still here, most were still back at the Gathering and the camp almost looked deserted, except for a few queens and their kits, and one or two warriors left to guard the camp, besides that all was quiet. As Nightpaw and Smallpaw strolled in. Nightpaw laughed happily he was now feeling tired, despite the joy he felt being with Smallpaw, he wondered if any cat had seen him leave that Gathering, he hoped the two wouldnt be missed.

Smallpaw strolled into the Clearing, and bounded after Nightpaw. "Hey, Nightpaw? Why are you so happy? Usually you would try to ruin the moment with complaints, or something." She asked. Although... She did feel rather happy in Nightpaw's presence.

Nightpaw looked at Smallpaw, normally he never knew that he was such a downer, he guessed it just came natural, but maybe all the other cats were right. He did need to loosen up once and a while. "What's there to complain about? I got to spend the whole night with you!" Nightpaw mewed cheerfully, smiling at the she-cat.

Smallpaw blushed, or what a cat could do for a blush, at Nightpaw's reply. She shook her head. "Well, I am happy too!" The Apprentice mewed with a yawn. "Let's go to bed... I'm beat..." Smallpaw flicked her tail, and bounded over to her nest. Ah! Smallpaw circled in her nest, curling up, with her tail over her nose. Her breathing slowed, and she was fast asleep.

Shadowclaw who had also stayed behind padded out to meet the apprentices. He wondered why they were back so early.

Amberpaw padded back into camp with a thoughtful look on her face. It wasn't usually a look she wore. It didn't look right upon her kit-ish face.

"Uh..." Nightpaw gaze drifted away from the warrior, excuse, an excuse... His eyes fell back on the warrior Duskshadow. "We... uh... LOOK AT THAT!" Nightpaw yowled pointing at nothing somewhere in the direction of the Nursery, and if that simple tactic worked, he would bounding off into his den to go to sleep, ignoring anymore words from Duskshadow or a glare from Shadowclaw. He wondered if they were going to tell Shadowstar, that they both had left, would anyone ever find out what really happened?

"Come on then tell us!" Ordered Shadowclaw becoming impacient.
"If you don't answer now we will tell Shadowstar!"

"Oh, hi Amberpaw! Where have you been." Nightpaw mewed happily padding over to her, and trying his hardest to get these two cats off his back, he just hoped that the news from the gathering was big enough for him to slip back in the den and go to sleep, he couldn't handle trying to avoid the warriors for the rest of the night.

"Huh?" Amberpaw's ear flicked in confusion. It wasn't usually the first thing that Nightpaw said to her. "Er... Why do you care where I've been all so suddenly?" She asked him.

"Oh, come on, stop kidding around." Nightpaw mewed loudly trying to ignore ShadowClaw as much as possible. Going into a light whisper, Nightpaw turned to Amberpaw, "Can you cover for Smallpaw and I, please? I'm begging you, I can't think of a single thing to get ShadowClaw off my back."

Smallpaw lifted her head from her nest. She yawned, glansing at Amberpaw and Nightpaw. "Oh! Hey, Amberpaw! I thought you were still at the Gathering!" The gray Apprentice thumped her tail on the ground. Smallpaw instently stopped her tail, thinking. If I join Darkclan... I'll have to leave Amberpaw... Tigerpelt... My mentor... Jadeclaw... And all the other riverclan cats that are my friends.. She shook her head, a determined look on her face. No! I will be helping others without a home! Nightpaw and I will become the best hero-like cats ever! Smallpaw looked up at the moon. We have to get going soon...

"ShadowClaw knows somethings up..." Nightpaw whispered to Smallpaw, thinking of the best way to get out of this if there even has one. How could he get out of Shadowclaw's suspscion and back into just being a normal apprentice with no real destiny to form a parallel clan to help those cats without a home.

"Get some sleep, Nightpaw... We have a long day tomorrow." Smallpaw whispered to the Black Apprentice. Smallpaw curled up again. "Don't worry about what Shadowclaw 'knows'..."

"I can't, there's too much to worry about, what if WindClan caught our scent, then they would think RiverClan was stealing prey, or what if a patrol catches us when we go to the meeting." Nightpaw murmured mostly to himself as he sat still thoughts racing in his head. But then a small glimmer of happiness, he could be a Deputy, and he was so young, it would bring so much honor to him, but what if they were wrong and he was regarded as a traitor.

Smallpaw glansed up at Nightpaw. "If you worry too much, you'll be gray all over!" She teased. Smallpaw lifted her head again. "Remember... You aren't alone in this... I'm going to go through it all the way with you..." She murmered.

Nightpaw smiled at Smallpaw, "At least I have some one I can trust." Nightpaw reluctantly padded back into the Apprentices Den and curled up in his nest, his tail covering his nose and eyes forced shut, as the moon rose Nightpaw fell asleep, dreaming of his future and the hope he could bring if Tigerstar's dream came true... But could Tigerstar really have a plan that didn't require any death at all, could he be trusted, does StarClan even care that he is back?

OOC: Let's say it's the next day! And we'll say that it was supposed to be one day instead of two cause I dun wanna wait!

Smallpaw woke up, yawning. She looked over at Nightpaw, who was still asleep. It wasn't even dawn, so the Dawn patrol shouldn't even be up yet. Smallpaw got up, and picked her way carefully over to Nightpaw. She carefully prodded him with her paw. "Wake up, Nightpaw. We have to go."

Nightpaw's tail twitched as Smallpaw touched him, his opened and head looked up to the sky, it was still dark but it was close to dawn. "We must hurry, we have a lot to worry about than our own patrols. WindClan could send out a patrol any second!" Nightpaw whispered quietly, standing up quickly he padded out slowly, leaving only his scent behind. "We must mask our scent so no RiverClan cat will find us again." he said once they were out of the Apprentice Den and walking out of the camp.

Smallpaw nodded, trotting after him. "We could find some foxdung on the way.." She suggested. She flicked her tail, padding out of camp.

Shadowclaw couldn't sleep. He padded out into the clearing. Just as he exited the den he saw a pair of tails disapear out the entrance. Curious he followed the tails. Out of the camp.
