Watertail's adventure continued.

Spottedheart watched from the bushes with amusement and she felt her golden furred mother from Starclan standing beside her. Spottedheart sniffed in the air, Daisy's scent filled her but was soon lost. Spottedheart sighed, 'He met her, but his loyalty is to the clan.' Spottedheart thought. She strode out of the bushes, "Watertail. It is time to go now. You have met her." Spottedheart meowed.

"But Spottedheart, he doesn't even know her name, please let him have more time. I will come with you and take the blame for this mess." goldenkit pleaded, hoping she will agree.

"that will not be necessary, I wish to speak to the WindClan leader." Moontail said. "We will talk on the way, my son" "First off, I am Moontail, I was once Deputy of WindClan. One day there was a report of a band of rogues and I was sent to chase off one that was at a old fox den. I met the rogue tom and he said he was no threat to me or my clan. Now, I was a good warrior and was very kindhearted. I told this tom that he could stay, as long as he did not take any of our prey and did not have any rogues with in the den. I checked on him everyday to make sure he did not break the laws I had given him. When I met him, there would be a great deal of talk between him and I, and we grew closer everyday. I learned from him that he himself was not banished from his clan, but his mother was. The stupid she-cat had joined BloodClan because she wanted to be the leader of RiverClan and she got kicked out for trying to murder her leader, so she joined BloodClan and became the leader's mate. Now, I understood how he felt. After 3 or 4 moons I finally fell in love with him. The Clan had found out what I was doing after we had fallen in love. I had explained everything I had learned about him, including how it was his mother's fault he was a rogue, and asked if he could become part of the clan. Our leader said no and banished me from the clan. I stayed in the fox den your friend found me in and we had you. Your father's name was Cloud, and we couldn't have been happier with you. You have his blue fur, but you get your tabby from me. We decided that we would give you up to the clan. So one day I took you to a stream that I knew the clan used very frequently and left you about 3 yards away, hidden in brush so that no fox or badger would find you. I came back the next day to see that you were gone with no trace of blood or any sign of injury, so I knew you were in good paws. A few moons after, you would have been apprenticed by then, Your father and I were attacked by a badger while hunting. The badger had me pinned to the ground and it was about to kill me when your father leaped upon the beast casting it over the cliff and into the cold waters below, but your father went down with it and that night, I had lost my love. I stayed silent there and held vigil. The next day I had to carry on with my life, but I never felt so alone." She looked down at the ground as she walked with the group to the WindClan camp. "But now I have found you." She suddenly looked happy " What is your name? Are you a warrior? Is this your apprentice?" She asked glancing at Goldenkit who all of a sudden felt embarrassed at the thought of someone thinking he was a apprentice.

''Yes, I am a warrior'' said Watertail proudly ''and my name is Watertail, and no, he is not my apprentice, not yet'' replied Watertail also glancing at Goldenkit '' We should get going, Spotedheart has a lead on us''.

"Yes we should." replied Goldenkit looking ahead of him at Spottedheart. "I am proud of you little warrior." Moontail said looking at Goldenkit. "Your the one that found me and brought me to my son. Your journey brought both of you scar wounds, but you carried on. Now I am going to see the WindClan leader, and try to join to clan once more. I have something to live for now." She looked seriously at her son. "Why should travel fast now. We must catch up to this warrior." At that the old rogue picked up her paws and traveled faster than any cat Goldenkit had ever seen. She immediately caught up to the warrior and looked back to see both warrior and kit were astonished. "Come on! Were never going to get there at this pace." She smiled.

''You heard her, let's go!'' Said Watertail

"Coming!" Goldenkit replied as he rushed past many forestation so fast the ferns that were dying, their leaves fell off. He caught up to the group quickly and slowed down to stay at their pace. They arrived at the camp and were escorted to the Leader's Den.
