Finding Family

Vixenstep leaped to her paws, hissing in fury. "Shut up! We know she's here!"she snapped, the fur on her shoulders rising.

Cody's head snapped over towards Vixenstep. An anger filled his body and shown perfectly in his eyes. He screeched and leaped at Vixenstep without thinking about the odds or his own predicament. He didn't care, he wanted to run them off. He didn't know what they'd do with Heatherpelt. The tom claimed to be related to her, but he didn't buy it, he didn't believe it. And what about this one? Did she claim relation as well?

Vixenstep felt his paws land on her shoulders and caterwauled, flipping over on her back at the last moment so that he landed on her outstretched paws. She clawed at his belly, hissing in anger.

Cody jumped to the side before a paw could touch the tips of his fur. He stood on the side of Vixenstep now, glaring down at her with pure anger. He took his claws and slashed at her belly, aiming to create wounds that would keep the young cat in their little Medicine Den for moons.

Vixenstep just barely dodged, but blood still soaked her fur. The gash was much shallower thanks to the little dodge, so she flipped over on her paws and charged at the tom, her tortoiseshell fur splashed with blood and mud so that she looked almost unidentifiable.

Cody charged at Vixenstep as she did him. He tried to duck under her and unbalance the she-cat, then he'd attack he legs and stomach. He was fully pre-pared to whirl around and aim a slash at her flank his attempt failed, but the move left him volnerable, as moves of this nature did.

Vixenstep hissed and kicked out with her hind legs, aiming to hit Cody's throat or face.

Cody backed up when he was hit, swuare in the face by Vixenstep's hind-legs. He felt a sting on his face. A cut, but nothing that would bleed. He backed up from the she-cat until he was out of range from her feet. He sneezed and glanced over at Goldenstorm, making sure he wasn't doing any sudden moves.

Vixenstep whirled to face Cody, narrowing her eyes. The sudden movement of her midsection opened the wound even more, and she gasped in pain, wincing with one eye closed as she waited for his next attack.

Cody grinned and ran up to Vixenstep, his speed great. Suddenly he stopped and brought his claws up to hook them under her jaw, and then tear it away to give her a slash at her face. He didn't want to aim for her neck. He didn't want to spill blood around his home, not unless he had to.

She felt pain in her jaw as his claws scraped past her jaw, and she hissed, swiping at his face and ears.

Goldenstorm had been left in a daze. He snapped back into reality, his fur on end as fury course through his veins. He let his fangs show, his lips curled into a fierce snarl. He let out a ferocious yowl before lunging forward with his paws outstretched, aiming to tackle Cody while blocking Vixenstep from any of the violent tom's attacks. He remembered all his training with Watertail and the other apprentices and he drew his paws in and started spiraling, making his whole body twirl through the air and he soon looked like a golden rocket. He shut his eyes and hoped for the best, he could barely hear the wind in his ears as the blood and adrenaline mixture pumped as loud as drums in his ears.

Cody pulled his head away from Vixenstep's attack, but his ear was cut, a little blood trickling down. The air was pushed out of him as, suddenly he was knocked over. He looked and saw it was the other cat. He kicked out at the other tom, trying to get the pest away from him.

OOC: *glares at Cheesles* THIS ISN'T A FIGHT I CAN EXACTLY KEEP UP! XD

OOC: GET UR FURRY BUT IN HER FIZZEH CHEEZ!!

Goldenstorm felt a heavy kick wind him as it landed on his belly, he grew angrier and fought harder, slashing out at Cody's legs as he jumped up to land on Cody and try to pin him down.

The golden dappled she cat flicked the rabbit into the air catching it skillfully in her jaws. She clamped down on the prey, killing it instantly. Her green eyes flickered over the other rabbit she had caught not long before. She tossed her new prey onto the first rabbit and then picked them up. She looked around scenting the air once more before bounding easily over the moors.

The slim young she cat blinked before rounding the rock den. Her eyes suddenly filled with hatred when she saw two young Windclan warriors fighting with Cody. She hissed at the foreign young cats. But from their scents she did know they were Windclanners. "What are you doing here!?" She snarled.

Goldenstorm stopped from his fighting, backing off when he saw the she-cat. He kept his teeth bared and his claws out as he held a firm stance, "Who are you?" he spoke through gritted fangs.

Cody rolled onto his feet and ran in between Goldenstorm and Heahterpelt. He winced as the inflicted wounds on his legs stung, but he held through it firm and glared at the two cats. "Why don't you just go?" He growled, his pelt bristling to new hights. He had more than enough fight in him.

"Because we're looking for Goldenstorm's mother!"Vixenstep hissed, her eyes bold with determination. "We aren't leaving without seeing Heatherpelt!"

Cody hissed. "Then looked somewhere else, because any cat you need to see isn't here!" He dug his claws into the ground and glared at Vixenstep, anger as high as the clouds. "And how about you two just leave now so we don't have another problem."

Goldenstorm stepped in front of Cody, anger boiling within him. His ears had just barely so that he could hear clearly. His eyes burned with fury at the stubborn cat, "Where is my mother?" he snarled slowly, letting his fierce words sink in thoroughly.

"She's dead, I killed her, like the answer?" Cody replied quickly. He snarled at Goldenstorm, his eyes unwavering. His ears were flattened to his neck as he seemed to curse the other cat. He lashed his tail in his fury, just waiting for the other cat to try and continue.

Goldenstorm stood stock still, shocked. A pang of loneliness and depression came over him, his legs felt as if they were trembling. He could see the world spinning around him, as he tried to understand the words spoken to him. "You..." he whispered at first. "You.." he looked up, his meow getting stronger as he face grew bolder and he became fury-stricken. "You killed her!" he leaped at Cody, his anger overtaking all his senses as he went into a battle frenzy. He slashed and ripped his claws through the air as his fangs seemed to shine with his jaws wide open in a yowl that rang through the air.

Vixenstep blinked in shock. "No! Goldenstorm don't!"she yowled, limping forwards to try and knock him away from the tom. "He's lying!"

Goldenstorm felt himself shoved, he whipped around, blind in his fury and pushed back before returning to the loner and trying to rip his throat out.

Cody growled, bunching his muscles, and leaped at Goldenstorm. He screeched in fury, willing to do anything to get these cats away from here. He wanted to give them wounds that'll forever remind them of what would happen if they came back and tried ruining what wa shad here. Those two with their talk of kinship would only hurt Heatherpelt with their lies. He knew it! He was certain, and he was going to protect her from it.
